In the same boat here...I was advised to wait another 2 weeks so we will see after that

Hang in there. I sent a letter to my senator and she practically sent me the same reply that I read on line to me.

I can and will only pray at this pioint cause some people didnt get any letter, let alone oat ceremony till 2 months after...:unsure:

i heard that it's always better to call the senator than send an email or letter, i will call just because i want to speak to a human being..

i am so stressed out with work and our move, waiting for an IL and dealing with USCIS are additional stressssssss!!!! :wacko:

i really don't understand why we pay so much money for all these and yet we still get the same BS all the time, why can't they improve the process?!? :crying:

I've been ready for a while and I thought I should contribute with my timeline. Don't know how to add it myself, may be someone could help?

I'm in the sane boat, waiting for 1,5 month since FP.

Not sure what is going on in Chicago.

i do the same thing, almost every hour i check and check and check.. still nothing.. :(

the last time i called USCIS they said "chicago is still processing november applications".. WHATEVER! <_<

Ruchie passed her interview today! Her civics test was very easy!

She only remembers the first 4 questions,,,,

1. What is the supreme law of the land?

2. What is the highest court in the US?

3. What is the capitol of our state?

4. Who has the power to veto?

She had to write "Freedom of Speech"

She had to read a sentence about Freedom of Speech

He went over some parts of the N-400 application and told her that all the files really looked good . He then congratulated her and told her she passed her interview and civics test. He then went to get her a form called the N-652( Naturalization Interview Results) It told her she had passed the inteview and civics test and congratulated her and said your application has been recommended for approval...

He said to make sure to bring her Greencard when she reports for the Oath Ceremony. She will be notified when she is scheduled for her Oath Ceremony.....

No more USCIS!!!!!!!!:dance:

Unrelated to your post...I completed my 5 years with GC today.....5 years went so fast...so hopefully next few months go fast too

K1 - Fiance Visa

05/15/08: Filed for K1

12/01/08: Interview Scheduled for 9:00 AM at US consulate Chennai

12/01/08: Approved at 11:30 AM

12/04/08: Got the passport with the VISA stamped :D

12/09/08: Got on the airlines and arrived at LAX at 6:15 PM POE took 4 mins

01/27/09: The big day - WEDDING

01/28/09: Applied for SSN

02/12/09: Got SSN in the mail

02/17/09: Got Marriage Certificate

AOS

02/28/09: Filed AP, AOS and EAD

03/13/09: NOA received (AP, AOS and EAD)

03/13/09: Biometrics appointment received

03/18/09: RFE mailed

03/25/09: Biometrics schedule - Done [dint take more than 10 mins including the wait time]

03/27/09: Sent out required info with regard to RFE via Priority mail to Missouri

03/31/09: Request to expedite AP [ Travel Document]

04/02/09: AP Approved

04/06/09: Recieved Travel Document [AP] in the mail

04/13/09: Recieved EAC/EAD in the mail

04/25/09: Recieved Interview date for the 8th of June 2009

06/08/09: Interview for AOS at San Bernardino CA - Passed

08/29/09: Green Card Received

Removal of Conditions

03/09/2011: Filed for removal of conditions

03/18/2011: Received NOA1
