Just looked up my online status today and I it changed to '... placed in line for interview scheduling.' It looks like March filers may start receiving interview dates any time now. Good luck everyone.

On April 30, 2012, your N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION was placed in line for interview scheduling. When scheduling is complete, you will receive a written notice with a time and place for your interview. Please check the website for further updates on your case. According to the "experts" on naturalization that are on here..if you filed 90 days early you are wasting your time as your case maybe delayed or be slow to get attention or your local office might have heavy case load hence you not getting anything yet like me!!!

To everyone in March filers may we all get to the end of our journey safely! Amen

What really makes me angry is :angry: than why give that 90 days prior to 5Y anniversary option...and also why give out priority date when you are obviously not going to work as per priority date. Call the priority date as some other name like "Date we don't care about" or "Date that we put your application in a file"

Thank you very much man/miss...That was exactly what I said...They should remove that statement or rule or whatever and just have people file on their 3rd or 5th anniversary!

K1 - Fiance Visa

05/15/08: Filed for K1

12/01/08: Interview Scheduled for 9:00 AM at US consulate Chennai

12/01/08: Approved at 11:30 AM

12/04/08: Got the passport with the VISA stamped :D

12/09/08: Got on the airlines and arrived at LAX at 6:15 PM POE took 4 mins

01/27/09: The big day - WEDDING

01/28/09: Applied for SSN

02/12/09: Got SSN in the mail

02/17/09: Got Marriage Certificate

AOS

02/28/09: Filed AP, AOS and EAD

03/13/09: NOA received (AP, AOS and EAD)

03/13/09: Biometrics appointment received

03/18/09: RFE mailed

I applied for n400 in jan 2012 , got a yellow letter on march 6 telling me what to bring to interview etc, it was not a interview letter just a letter that I guess everybody gets in the mail , on April 9 th I received an email that I am in line to be scheduled for interview, it's been three weeks already I have not heard anything is that normal , I applied in Los Angeles

I applied for n400 in jan 2012 , got a yellow letter on march 6 telling me what to bring to interview etc, it was not a interview letter just a letter that I guess everybody gets in the mail , on April 9 th I received an email that I am in line to be scheduled for interview, it's been three weeks already I have not heard anything is that normal , I applied in Los Angeles

If you have done your fingerprints within the last 15 months you may not have to do your fingerprints again.

Still nothing.. :( :( :(

I will be completing my 3 year annivesary on the 8th of June.

once again

"According to the "experts" on naturalization that are on here..if you filed 90 days early you are wasting your time as your case maybe delayed or be slow to get attention or your local office might have heavy case load hence you not getting anything yet like me!!!"

Thank you very much man/miss...That was exactly what I said...They should remove that statement or rule or whatever and just have people file on their 3rd or 5th anniversary!

hmm.. we filed about 75 days early, not 90 days.. but still early and is on track with everyone else.. i think it just really depends.. but they did really scare us for not cashing in our check sooner and notifying us for awhile... who knows!!

Just quick FYI to everyone...I had my senator call the USCIS to check the status and I just spoke to the staff in the Senator's office. He called the USCIS yesterday and they have confirmed everything they need for my file is in place (finger print done, Name check done). It seems they don't schedule interview till you complete your 5 year anniversary. So they are waiting for my 5 year anniversary to finish to schedule my interview. So I should see an interview letter in mail after June 4th (5Year anniversary date). So I guess one more month of wait for me.

This is first time I am seeing officially USCIS telling they won't schedule interview till 5 year anniversary date. :bonk:
