Tracking DHL

Hi everyone !!!

I was surfing Visa Journey and I found out I can track DHL to know when my papers arrive at the Embassy in Peru. I figured it out, seems simple enough (after 20 long minutes of trying )

I recieved my Case Number Letter from NVC yesterday, but it is dated Feb. 28, 2012.

I used the code EXP 27 FEB 2012A and a package appears as gone out and arrived in Lima on March 1st. I tried a variety of before and after dates, but nothing. This seems to be the only one.

I feel this is probably my petition, but I really dont know.

Can anyone tell me, how can I know for sure if this is mine?? Is there a way of knowing, or is this all based on assumption??

I know this may not be a huge deal...but after so many months of waiting, any type of anything is HUGE for me. Atleast it is a distraction.

YOu will not know if a package is yours

It is just a guess

You need to know what date NVC says they sent the petition to the embassy

If they say they sent it on the 28th then you use the day before

ITs a standard code, i guess. I found it on this site. You type: (capital) EXP (space) day before date on NVC letter (space) First 3 letters of Month, in caps. (space) year, with a capital A at the end

SO my letter was dated 2-28-2012 so my code was: EXP 27 FEB 2012A

but if that number (27) doesnt work try a couple days before and a couple days after.

Only, like togetherforever says, you kind of have to assume it is yours because their is no name or anything.
