Confused about at an RFE

We recieved an RFE with regards to the Support forms (I-864) ..... But everything they say that they need from us we submitted to them already .... so we're confused about what to do. Do we just send all the stuff again? Can we call someone and clear it up?? We got the RFE only about a week after we initally submitted the AOS package, that was fast!! Anyways any help would be appreciated.

Maybe you could list what the RFE is for and exactly what you sent and we can all look and see if there is some mismatch or might be something you thought you sent but they really wanted something else. I also got an RFE for the I864 so maybe I can help, I'll try at least :) If you did really send everything exactly right then yeah, you just send it all back in! That has been known to happen before.

yeah i got the REF too for the support,what you need to do is to send the stuff again but ,employment letter has to be new from your boss and pay checks stubs for 6 months and taxes and W2s and thats it ,did they say in the REF that the EAS will take 91 days after recieving the REF? hope it will be fine .

They asked for W-2s, Federal Tax Returns and Employment Letter.

My husband is in the military, we submitted his W-2s, his federal tax returns for that last 3 years (and a note explaining why he didnt have any taxes in 2003 - he was stationed in the middle east in a tax free zone), and a letter from the US Navy saying he was active duty and all that stuff about that, and we got that letter less than 3 weeks ago!

Hmm, well, I would just send it all again for the last three years and maybe include some tax transcripts? We sent in W2's and stuff for the last three years and still got an RFE for them, along with tax transcripts, employer letter, and proof of citizenship. So, we obviously didn't give them everything but they did reask for some stuff and we just resent it and got transferred to CSC so I guess they liked what they got. I'm sure someone in here might be able to help you out more though!

Did the navy letter specify all of the information they want in the employer letter and was it on official letterhead? Only thing I can think of.....personally I just think they want to make life more difficult or they lose stuff or miss it in the paperwork! :P

A lot of people are getting this as an RFE, even though they already sent the stuff in. It also happened to me. Despite the fact we sent in everything for the I-864 they asked for it all AGAIN. There's nothing you can do except just send it all in again.

Canadian on TN Status married to USC

07/18/06 - Forms (I-485, I-130, I-765) sent overnight to Chicago Lockbox

07/19/06 - Received Date

07/25/06 - Notice Date

07/26/06 - Cheques Cashed

07/31/06 - I-130, I-765 Added online (I-485 not online yet)

08/04/06 - Receive Appt. letter for FP/Bio

08/14/06 - FP/Bio taken / LUD on I-130, and I-765 / I-485 added online

08/18/06 - RFE sent for Tax Return stuff, which was already sent with application

08/25/06 - RFE received by me in mail

09/05/06 - RFE returned to USCIS

09/11/06 - RFE Received by USCIS

10/31/06 - InfoPass to check status on 485 and 765 - Apparently a push has been made on 765

11/06/06 - I-765 (EAD) Approved!
