Is there any way we can block certain countries?

Would be great to block the Philippines, 90% of the silly forum drama would drop right off the radar.

Ummm ....Did not intend to start conflict between Vietnam and Philippines..by asking about this option... :hehe:

Actually people can post awful personal opinions and have the SO from any country. I really feel for this man's SO ..when I read his posts...and am surprised most people have not called him on it....from a VJ and decency stand point.

In fact he continually violates # 2 on the list of TOS under permitted services

But I dont read it anymore so thank you again and for the advice.

Post Content intended to degrade, intimidate, or incite violence or prejudicial action against a broad demographic or group of people identified by a unifying trait or characteristic (discrimination). For instance, racist or sexist content may be considered hate speech.

If the threads are really more relevant to Regional issues or just local drama then report the thread requesting it be moved to the PH regional forum, eventually the members will follow...

Ohhh, I tried but gave up after about the 100000000 post

I really don't mind the posts that are at least "mildly" relevant, but asking narrow scope Manila specific questions over and over is a bit tiresome. It's obvious that the PI members FAR outnumber the rest of us combined. Most are respectful, but more than a few are a bit lazy and just throw the question into the K1 forum knowing that they will get instant responses from other PI members. Its a bore for the rest of us that practice good forum hygiene. How often to do you see posts moved from K1 to the Viet Nam forum (almost never)? Count how many get moved from the PI (lots).

Don't take it personal, its just a numbers game and a bit of complacency from being in the majority.

No, no war !! I was mostly just teasing !! If the tables were turned and Viet Nam was int he majority it would probably be the reverse situation.

By the way, were you referring to me in your comments above?

I wonder if the OP can see this post? :hehe:

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

Hmmmm, if she was referring to me I would love to see examples of racist or sexist material in ANYTHING I have ever posted. I have never been banned, reported, or even received a warning of an inappropriate post.

All of us have a particular member or two that gets on their nerves, just the same as real life. Many of us post opinions, and ethical views on many issues that could be considered controversial and even offensive to some members. There are more than a few posts that I personally found offensive to my own religious views, however, that is what to expect when you join a public forum. One has to develop a thick skin and learn to tolerate opposing opinions as long as they are not personally directed. It doesn't make these members "bad people" just because we find them personally intolerable, as those people might have the same opinion of us and our views.

The OP made some very serious accusations against another member, and if that type of material has been posted it needs to be reported to a Mod for action.

Yes and if the OP was referring to me I'd like to express my outrage too.

In fact, every VJ poster who isn't the OP should post in this thread because really, it could be any of us.

No one is safe. No one!
