Hey guys!

So I know we have to submit our W-2 forms for the affidavit stuff, but I am curious does the embassy keep them or do they just want to see them....?

Thank you for any advice! :)

They keep everything that is submitted.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

It depends on the embassy... some will merely glance at your supporting evidence others will collect portions of it. Best to submit copies.

If they request an original they will return it, ie original divorce decree required for consulate. If original not specifically requested, copy is fine.

Nope! most places will not return originals unless you specifically request them!

Such is life, sometimes you need to speak up. However, like i said, it is policy to return originals, if in fact an original was requested. When only a copy is required and you submit an original, you may not get this back.
