NVC can do anything for money, they dont care about our personal life story. As long as they get paid every week, thats all matter to them.

Last retrogression was done only for money..

US immi policy is money machine.

We chose to be manypulating with system, its our fault, anyway we all forget later after visa approved.... Lets celebrate friday night and chill.

I disagree with your point. The retrogression happens once in a while and it's not like day to day routine stuff..

If you understand the NVC process you won't doubt why the retrogression happened last time. The NVC sends few forms that people need to fill out in order to get green-card. If people do not respond to them with these forms so they think there won't be enough people interested to get the gc and they move the PDs fast to accommodate few more individuals who are ready with their paperwork. And later on these people who did not respond earlier or delayed their response start sending their docs to the NVC so to accommodate them the NVC has to move the PD back because there is a limit on the numbers of gc given per year. That's simple logic..

Obviously, we will have to pay them, Just think they are bringing foreigners in their country for permanent residence..It's like we pay to watch movies so we have to pay them to migrate here..Nothing is free in this world..Also the NVC is not charging a lot. If you see the fee for filing I-485 is more than $1000 so paying NVC around $500 is like peanuts. In return we are getting American green-card so please do not blame them..

Just we get our interview letters little late does not mean they are bad and we start criticizing them..So relax and everything will start happening soon.

hmm should i go for consular processing or do adjustment of status.I'm currently on F1 visa and will be done with OPT august 2013.I'm in F2A priority date September 2010.Your advice is really appreciated.

First you relax..... VO chief Oppenheim said in public forum openly, F2A would be current by Feb 2011. I am not urging with you. but Secondly, How they have finish pd of 2007/2008 within 7 months period after lengest retrogression!! Go look at http://www.travel.state.gov/pdf/WaitingListItem.pdf and do some research??? Please!!

none of us are sleeping i think every body is saving their energy for Monday April 2nd because i am sure they will have to much to say or talk on that day. i 100% agreed with my friend sky you did very good and right analysis of the nvc retrogression but one think i wold like to add on it that last year retrogression not happened only because of some lazy people the do delayed response first and later on awake but you know my friend this is not a reality which caused last retrogression is base by the uscis approved more then 2500 pending application suddenly in just 1.5 moth and their priority date was some 2007 and 2008 as result it brought retrogression last year

Good News; We got visa on march 30th interview.

Got questions about showing 1) show wedding Photos and photos combined 2) how I got green card after entering US with F1 visa; when he is already eligible for citizenship, why spouse did not apply for citizenship 3) where is spouse now; and when he will return to US 4) when spouse got green card; when marriage happened 5) Why your spouse got divorced with his earlier wife, describe the issues 6) are you interested in going to USA. 7) Who all arranged this arranged marriage.

New Police Clearance certificate is necessary if old one is more than 6 months to 1 year.

DO you guys know whats the timeline getting passport back in courier in India
