I don't agree. In my case, my I-130 approved in March 2011 and NVC sent AOS and requested all the documents straight away. when NVC sent me the AOS form, it mentioned that our visa number will be available within 9 month time. my case has been completed since JUNE 2011. oh by the way my PD is OCT 2010. PS how can you explain this? Hey it is ok to speculate but reality is no one knows what is going on? however i am with you on the hope that F2A moving faster.

Your pd was assuuming to be current before retrogression, thats why nvc processed your case. After retro nvc has lots pressure from media and aila, this time they wont make false process.

I hope you got my point.

My fearless prediction will be feb 15, 2010

If youl try to see the graph in the uscis webpage it will tell you that the current applicants depleted, and the NVC are basing the jump of the VB to the current filers. Therefore we can expect another 3 months or more leap.

I have the same feeling.. it should be around Feb-10

Trust me when the NVC sends the AOS and DS-3032 forms then the PD is likely to be current in the next nine months or even earlier. I have seen that it has happened to my relatives and to me as well. I got my interview call in less than 6 months after I got my forms a couple of years ago..

Some people try to say that it's the NVC policy to make money and blah blah but it is not true. Only when right time comes then only NVC sends forms. Unless any retrogression happens, you get your interview letter within 9 months after getting those forms. They haven't sent forms to people with PD after June or July 2011 so that proves that they don't randomly send forms.

So if people with PD 2011 have started getting these forms, it is likely that F2A is gonna move forward fast in coming months.

I am not too sure about that... I got the DS-3032 etc.. forms around May-11. it's been 11 months wait.. My PD is Nov-10..

As per my observation, VJ Members are getting interviews plus or minus 3 months after the case is completed by NVC. We should believe what NVC saying by the time they send DS forms. We never know the inside information. My prediction for my case to be current in october 2012 bulletin.

Spouse Priority Date: 10/15/2010

Case Completed: 08/30/2011

not the case. my brother's priority date is dec 30, 2010. i can submit all the documents today and have the case completed by April 20, 2012. thought it would be in his/my favor .. it's unlikely he would get an interview in july (with in the 3 months). The Visa Bulletin would then advance steadily for 4 months .. jumping 3 months each release.

I am saying about the maximum time you can wait to get an interview there are some members waited long time for I-130 and some members waited long time after case complete.

I understand. The max wait = 3 months = impossible. Visas are not immediately available to the category.

In general every one including me expecting you will get an interview with in an year from case completion date.

what i am trying to say is once your case is completed you may get your interview with in 9 months (minus 3 months) or 15 months (plus 3 months). I forgot to mention my one year rule.

sorry for the confusion
