Has the automated response from the NVC gone? Every time I call them now I just get the message that due to a heavy volume of calls there will delay in the operator's response. I'm just trying to get the automated case updates response.

BTW, my wife's PD is in Feb 2011, we just got our DS-3032 and AOS forms..I guess that's a good sign and the NVC is anticipating that my PD will likely to be current in the next nine months..

So hopefully, the coming bulletins will bring lots of good news for us..

Can you please add clarity to this? What does the recorded voice say? What number did you call? Can you share with us?

Im sorry my friend, I was not able to respond. You can see the no. to dial in the visabulletin's page to hear the automated voice saying the current vb update. I think its on the lower part of the page.the recorded voice said the current pd is oct 8, 2009.

202 6631541 heres the number.

My fearless prediction will be feb 15, 2010

If youl try to see the graph in the uscis webpage it will tell you that the current applicants depleted, and the NVC are basing the jump of the VB to the current filers. Therefore we can expect another 3 months or more leap.

Hope your prediction come true...

Trust me when the NVC sends the AOS and DS-3032 forms then the PD is likely to be current in the next nine months or even earlier. I have seen that it has happened to my relatives and to me as well. I got my interview call in less than 6 months after I got my forms a couple of years ago..

Some people try to say that it's the NVC policy to make money and blah blah but it is not true. Only when right time comes then only NVC sends forms. Unless any retrogression happens, you get your interview letter within 9 months after getting those forms. They haven't sent forms to people with PD after June or July 2011 so that proves that they don't randomly send forms.

So if people with PD 2011 have started getting these forms, it is likely that F2A is gonna move forward fast in coming months.

I don't agree. In my case, my I-130 approved in March 2011 and NVC sent AOS and requested all the documents straight away. when NVC sent me the AOS form, it mentioned that our visa number will be available within 9 month time. my case has been completed since JUNE 2011. oh by the way my PD is OCT 2010. PS how can you explain this? Hey it is ok to speculate but reality is no one knows what is going on? however i am with you on the hope that F2A moving faster.

NVC clearly says that visa will LIKELY be available within 9 months. They never assure you that it will definitely be available. May be it is true in some cases and may be its not for some people. For me, its not true :) as my PD is August 5, 2010 and my case completed in April 2011.

How do you know Qasir that most of 2010 will become current next month? That would be nice!

Some people try to say that it's the NVC policy to make money and blah blah but it is not true. Only when right time comes then only NVC sends forms. There is no correlation when NVC sends AOS and DS-3032 and when they will schedule interview. They process cases when they receive approved i-130 from USCIS and when they see a visa will likely be available but all that can change because visa numbers decision is made by Sate Dept and not NVC. They can bring it forward or retro-gate depending on demand. NVC can just predicate but that prediction is never absolute and can change with change in demand.
