I know your priority date is a little further away but you must believe that it will become current in the month that you choose. In our case, I told my dad, the petitioner, that my sister's priority date will become current in April. He was so happy; he believed it. He started to gather his paychecks for the last 6 months, he asked his employers for verification letters, he sent money so that my sister could resume her English classes. He started to act as though he believed my sister's interview was going to happen in April.

Of course, he knows nothing about how the visa bulletin works and he has never read any of your (you all) extremely conservative predictions. He didn't even read that the maximum the bulletin would move would be 2 months. He believed me like a kid believes in Santa.

And against all odds, it happened. My sister's interview is April 13, 2012 at 7:30 a.m.

So go and choose the month that you want to have your interview and believe it will happen. If you believe in God, pray to Him too.

what would you tell him if PD isn't current by that time?
