Just to clarify, the reason PD is Current was banned originally was not because of the swearing. The account was threadbanned because of the inappropriate posting behaviour that continued after 2 warnings to stop. PD is Current then created 2 duplicate fake membership accounts in order to bypass the thread ban and both of those accounts posting a great deal of obscenity that no one would consider 'joking'. Those two fake accounts were banned and PD is Current's account was suspended 3 days for creating two fake accounts as a means to bypass moderated action and then using both of them to violate TOS. The account quoted above has now also been banned as a third duplicate account created to bypass moderation action, and additional moderator action has been taken.

It does not matter how useful a member's information is if their posting attitude is such that it violates the Terms of Service for this site. If you want to post and share your experiences, then post responsibly.

Totally agree and second it. We need genuine member who help each other bear the mountainous wait period faced by LPR families.

Myth about logging in to NVC online fee payment:

I saw a lot of members trying to predict their interview dates by mentioning whether they are able to log in to the NVC online fee payment portal. I heard member saying that when you are close to be scheduled, NVC locks your account. This is not true. My wife PD is current and has interview in April. We are still able to login to the fee portal and can print and see our AOS and DS230 fees paid.

Some members were very adamant about that then,

but it is NOT TRUE,...

We have already been, scheduled, interviewed and approved,

and we can still access the portal up to now,...

Just be patient, your time will definitely come,..

mine took 4 days! Call 001-6033340700 and ask the operator whether your case has been completed or not! It takes ages for them to send you a notification on your case completion if you leave it up to them...personal experience!!!

Thats not a good sign to move pd for May VB. If applicant like you has'nt been complete case at NVC, there will be chance MAY VB will move slowly.

i dont think that

they will work in his case & when case complete may be his interview on may

but i dont think NVC will move may VB slowly coz one case not complete

My pd also Jan 2011.but after approval i didn't received anything.i think it's too early for ####.but i now people with pd2011 jan, Nvc send them payment invoice.my lawyer told me that's nothing,they just preparing cases until your pd become current.
