Two months ago, (some of you might have read it when I first posted it), I told you guys that I assured my dad that my sister's priority date will become current in April's bulletin and it's now a reality. People - you attract what you believe in!

My sister in the F2A category with priority date September 24, 2009 has her visa interview scheduled at the embassy in the beautiful city of Lima in Peru on April 13, 2012 at 7:30 a.m.

If the cut-off date for April is indeed 1 October 2009, the May Visa Bulletin might even reach into December... However, at this point I think I don't want to predict anything for May until the April Visa Bulletin is out as it might contain a new announcement on future cut-off date movement. Let's wait and see, the April VB might be out by the end of next week.

In our case, I told my dad, the petitioner, that my sister's priority date will become current in April. He was so happy; he believed it. He started to gather his paychecks for the last 6 months, he asked his employers for verification letters, he sent money so that my sister could resume her English classes. He started to act as though he believed my sister's interview was going to happen in April.

Of course, he knows nothing about how the visa bulletin works and he has never read any of your (you all) extremely conservative predictions. He didn't even read that the maximum the bulletin would move would be 2 months. He believed me like a kid believes in Santa.

And against all odds, it happened. My sister's interview is April 13, 2012 at 7:30 a.m.

So go and choose the month that you want to have your interview and believe it will happen. If you believe in God, pray to Him too.

Nov 1 2009 is very likely. Nov 15 is also possible.

This 2mon/mon trend should be sustained until Aug 2010. After that, don't know.
