Hello Everyone,

I signed up just now on visajourney for the sole purpose of encouraging all of you out there who are in the midst of the endeavor to bring your Philippine Fiancee to the US. I will list the timeline that we have experienced thus far below. I am eager to hear your feedback regarding how comparably the process flow has occured to yours.

May 1st - began communication

August 26th to September 4th - visit to the Philippines

October 28th - submitted I-129F petition to USCIS

Received 1st Letter (receipt) - November 2, 2011

Received 2nd Letter (approval) - February 4th, 2012

Fiancee Received Notice - February 27, 2012

Medical Examinations - March 1, 2012

US Embassy Interview - March 9, 2012

VISA Aproval/Issue - ???

Going through this process has had it's moment of tedium, but overall I feel as though it has gone extremely well. We have both been extremely thorough with our paperwork to ensure no hiccups to the process.
