If I file 3 seperate i130s (wife and two step daughters) will they be joined?

If I file 3 i130 forms for my wife and two stepdaughters will they be joined into a single case? I received my NOA1 for all the i130 forms already (the email and text but not physically) but they were listed as separate receipts. I would like to know if after NOA2 will I receive a single case # and if I will have the interview appointments for the same time? Girls are 7 and 11 if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance

ours were seperated and my husband had to go in and demand an answer. We all ended up with different NVC numbers but all got sent the same interview time and date so figure that means they ended up together at some point

So they stayed seperate all the way until the interview date? Did he have to pay seperate AOS fees etc or single fee combining all 3?

If you filed them together, they will be processed together but as three separate cases with three separate case numbers from start to finish. Three NVC case numbers too. The only thing singular will be the $88 AOS processing fee at the NVC stage.

Yes, this is exactly what I did. I sent the I-130 for my wife and step-daughter together in the same envelope, with a cover letter requesting that they be processed together. It was that easy.

Each case will receive their own NOAs and Embassy Case Numbers from NVC. You'll only pay one AOS Fee but 3 IV Fees and you'll submit 3 AOS Packets with almost identical information (just changing the beneficiary but acknowledging the other 3 beneficiaries in your household size).

NVC won't schedule any interviews until all 3 cases are completed. When the interviews are scheduled by NVC they might be for different times but on the same date and honestly the kids' interviews will be conducted simultaneously with the Mom's.

Thanks for clearing this up. So correct me if I'm wrong. 3 seperate cases. I pay one AOS but fill out 3 AOS forms (1 for each). It is possible that they link them or worst case I will have 3 appts but for same day. I think I'm all clear now ..thanks all.

Yes, they will be linked together, but you only have to pay one AOS fee. Yes, they will need 3 AOS forms. I sent both AOS forms together with another cover sheet requesting they be processed together to be on the safe side. they should already know that, but you can never be to safe.

No prob. I had the same concerns when I started this phase. It can be very confusing and seems very difficult but after you figure it all out, it's not so bad. Just time consuming.
