DS230 Q41 what should i put here?

not sure how to answer q41 on the DS230 form (have you ever been charged, arrested or convicted of any offense or crime?)

had an incident 6 years ago, for drunk n disorderly, non-conviction, standard UK paid the fee and no criminal record, do i need to answer yes to this question then? or no?

read lot of info on this, and worried yes will automatically ban me from visa,

Say "arrested but not convicted for public intoxication." They may want a court record.

Always tell the truth. Who knows what information the NVC can access via computer!? If they catch you in one misrepresentation, you could be banned for life.
