Three months -- the ink has yet to dry on your petition!

"The Marines I have seen around the world have the cleanest bodies, the filthiest minds, the highest morale, and the lowest morals of any group of animals I have ever seen. Thank God for the United States Marine Corps!" - Eleanor Roosevelt, First Lady of the United States, 1945.

"Retreat hell! We just got here!"

Stop!!!! Looking at others timelines can be torture. I understood that there would be wait of 5-6 months between NOA1 and NOA2. It was frustrating, I thought I would go crazy, I wanted to scream! But it wouldn't have done any good. Remember, this is a MARATHON not a sprint. Find a way to sit back, relax and enjoy the journey.... it's a long one. Thousands have successfully done this before we did. We will get through it.

hi,do you already have your MNL case # ? we almost have the same timeline.

You will get sympathy here for many things, waiting is not one of them though.

Particularly not from those already approved

Is it true that 90% of mid-December NOA1s have already received NOA2s? Shocking. The CSC isn't even close....

Nope. Waiting for NVC. Actually we won't get MNL as we requested to use the Qatar consulate since he there working.

But we are meeting in the Philippines next week just to see each other and his family again. :)

Best Advice :) It took about 3.5 months for us between NOA1 and NOA2... across the holidays. Then poof - everything goes quickly. Interview passed yesterday and visa on the way. It will be here before you know it... get a few cans of paint and get busy cleaning house :)
