When the teacher gives the reasoning that they were just following their heart, I've got to wonder what his mental age is. How many middle-aged men still think that love is driven by emotions? That's puppy love - the thing that young people get caught up in. If grown men were to let their emotions act as a litmus test for relationships, they'd never be able to hold down a marriage. This guy needs to grow up and start acting like a man instead of a teenager with raging hormones.

What would Bill Clinton say? I know his supporters would say "If it did not happen in the classroom it doesn't matter" or "It's just sex" Why was it OK for the President to tap young chicks at work and not this guy?

The mom is just the girl plus 60lbs. Dude should've checked her out first. Then again, maybe this isn't his longterm plan?

Amazing that a girl with daddy issues would hook up with an older guy.

But the big difference is a man who is obese can still be attractive. An obese woman has a very hard time pulling that off.

Men are attractive because of what they provide. Women are attractive because of their capability to reproduce healthy offspring. An obese woman can produce healthy offspring but her size and shape tricks the males into thinking she's biologically weaker. Hence, why this dude left his wife and kids to pursue new opportunities to mate with a younger, more fit female.

Do you have some personal experience or axe to grind?

Since you bring it up..... you keep referring to pedophiles and priests, even though over 70% of the victims were not little children but mostly into puberty or teens and nearly all were male.

Why not just call it what is was?

I have never introduced a topic relating to said subjects! I DO respond to posts by RWNJ's that attempt to justify the catholic church being able to use the power of government to enforce THEIR moral codes at the same time that same "moral authority" tries to get away with the most sick, perverted, destructive kinds of crimes by their clergy!!!

We all know this is just plain wrong, he was in a position of power and at the very least it was inappropriate. With this in mind, however, we will proceed to make childish and off-colour comment since it's more fun.

Sorry to disappoint you but I have never had the misfortune of being around catholic clergy! In my occupation I have to deal with children who have been abused and that makes it a bit of a sore spot for me. In addition, as a parent I have strongly held views about what I would want to do to anyone who ever tried anything like that with my children!

It is a bit curious how you seem more concerned when discussing pedophilia and the catholic clergy's abuse of boys in their early teens that you want to criticize the use of the term pedophilia as inappropriate to the topic rather than recognizing how morally reprehensible such activity is! Enjoy your time ROFL!

There are all different levels of depravity. And incorrectly using the term Pedophile when it don't apply makes you appear to be doing one of two things.

1. Draw an even more depraved image than facts suggest.

2. Attempt to disassociate the obvious Homosexual connection between the victims of abuse and the abuser.

You seem to have lost sight of the uniqueness of the Catholic Church scandal. It wasn't that boys were molested, on a per-capital basis there are other groups who molest at greater rates, ... it was the cover up, the moving molester from one Parish to another.

If it is only the victim you are concerned about.... why do you not rail on about School teachers, Day care workers and Athletic coaches?
