I could've not said it better. This to me sounds like an extremely selfish act. Not help your parents because they may HELP your sister? #######!?

throwing accusations left & right (while u dont even know the guy thats if he/she is a guy ), not cool....if u r getting "weird vibes" from him/her just keep it to your self n not help..but if we gonna judge every person will come here for help..####! things gonna be ugly around here ;)

Only US citizens can petition for their immediate family and bring them over in a short time. For LPRs to bring someone over this could take years, the average wait is 10 years! Like someone said, if your parents get their GC and stay out of the US for more than 6 months, the GC will be revoked. A GC is not a tourist visa.

Honestly there might be so little for you to do now, their interview is coming up so very soon. It's such a shame that you applied for them and now you want to withdraw the petition. I don't see how you wanted to "help" your parents in any way.

Thanks for all the replies...and the judgments as well. I appreciate the ones that did not judge me without knowing details and the circumstances.

Another question:

1- If the parents get approved at the interview, when do they have to travel to the US?

2- Where does their GC gets mailed to, i put my address as their US address?

Once they passed the interview and the visa is granted they will have 6 months to enter the US and the GC will be delivered to the address they will put when they file the DS-230.

1. An immigrant visa is generally good for up to six months. If the medical will expire before six months, then the expiration date for the visa will be the same as when the medical expires.

2. Your address about 4-6 weeks after they arrive.

I thought the child of the parent had to be under 18 to be sponsored to the US. Is that incorrect?
