We have severe weather heading our way... Alot of red & yellow on the weather.com map. Already a tornado hit in Hurst Tx and the weather is almost in Houston heading east. Not a good start to spring for us!

Morning Mena! Had to take my car in this morning to have it looked at, we have a whiney sound in the transmission and i'm really scared that it will have to have the transmission rebuilt. The weather here is fanaminal! We've had temps in the 70s and 80s away from Lake Michigan! All my bulbs are up some are even flowering. And my rose bushes are budding. Its unreal!!!

07/21/11 filed AOS off tourist visa

07/28/11 USCIS cashed check

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(

Hubster is working early today so we will at least get to see each other this afternoon and not in the passing!!! Gosh, almost like being excited when I was traveling over to see him when he was in Egypt!!! :rofl: Hope everyone has a spectacular day!!:thumbs:

Blood tests results were all fine except for my liver -which is more than likely from the metformin I'm on for PCOS. So, still a bacterial infection but thankfully nothing worse than that. Back to work tomorrow for me !

Went to the grocery store for the week. I like it better on Saturdays then Sundays. Sundays are so crowded. Also went and looked at where the hospitals are he is doing his observership at in April and May.

Hope everyone is having a great Saturday night in MENA land! I'm on call tonight so I usually don't sleep so well waiting for that phone to ring :wacko:

Well finally broke down and called the USCIS on Wednesday, exactly 30 days to the date of the NOA for dh ROC. The man on the phone was very nice and helpfull. Took down all of our info and said he would do an investigation on why we haven't gotten the biometric letter. Well wouldn't you know what showed up in the mail today!!! HAhaha yep, dated 1 day before we called!

Well at least he now has his biometric letter!!! Have a great rest of the weekend!!:thumbs:

I'm sorry Andrea I should have told you sooner that it takes at least a month to 45 days for the biometrics letter to arrive. Congrats though! kicking.gif
