Y'know, In N Out burgers sound like the absolutely most perfect way to celebrate your entry to the US. You can have nookie any old time, but In N Out burgers? Damn those are goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood!

damm straight!!! :thumbs: I hadn't had one in about 6 years or so and they were all I could think about :whistle: .... Now that I am here we don't go very often to In and Out because they are always busy no matter what time of day it is :o but I found Jim's burgers to be quite enjoyable too.... and Jim's is basically around the corner from us

Ooo, I'll answer this in a couple months hopefully! I haven't thought about it really....I guess we should all go to dinner or something. I can take James to see where he's gonna live as well since he hasn't seen our apartment yet :)

we got our marriage license! then ate out and relaxed in Dave's barrack's room because I had just driven 16 hours and was way tired!

September 9, 2005 - NOA's for AOS, AP, (dated Sept. 1)

November 28, 2005 - AOS biometrics - refused EAD biometrics at the same time

December 5, 2005 - AP approved

December 7, 2005 - Infopass appointment for interim EAD

December 12, 2005 - Received EAD card

December 13, 2005 - Received AP

June 14, 2005 - Case Status Inquiry/Tracer

June 19, 2005 - Letter sent to congressman

AOS INTERVIEW SCHEDULED FOR AUGUST 8, 2006

AOS approved - August 8th, 2006 - hooray - done with USCIS for now!

Well...I'm hoping to bring Katya back with me Aug. 2. Honestly, it will be about 32 hours in a plane or/airport. We will probably shower and crash. The next morning though...Migas!!! That's right...her first taste of America will be Mexico. :lol:

I wanted Melinda's first days in America to be awesome so I took her to Disneyland and Sea World in So California. She was wide eyed with wonder and the joy of a little girl. what a joy it was to watch her enjoy herself.

Went to visit a friend of ours who was only 30 minutes from the airport. We were tired, we ate too much, we spent the night. We figured we'd have plenty of time on our own so what was one more night. :)
