You're welcome.

Remember, the IV bill isn't invoiced automatically after the DS-3032 has been accepted. It takes a day or two. Just keep checking the payment portal today.

Hi *waves*

Yes and I get that. Thanks! but shouldn't at least some information be already in there such the applicant's name at least. I'm just going by what my friend's used to look like. It would already have all her information entered but under the Status it would say "NOT INVOICED"

For the supporting documents related to the expedite request, do we need to send it along with the AOS document or have the hospital send the medical information itself to NVC?

What did the operator say to do? I believe, usually, supporting documents for an expedite (if needed) are sent by email. They wouldn't be sent with any packages.

I did not call the operator to ask for this information, is high risk pregnancy a good reason to expedite? if so, my wife is currently in this situation. that is why i rarely post something here

Breaking NEWS! LOL! I have just received confirmation from an operator @ NVC (True or not) that NVC has Officially SHUTDOWN the AVR (Automated Voice Response) System and therefore availability of information is no longer 24/7 as it used to be

From what i read on forums, AVR is not accurate anyway, few days behind? so if this is the case then why would anyone depend on AVR?

why not just talk straight to an Operator? i know there likely a chance that "MR. PERSONALITY" might pickup the call.

You can always try (not guaranteed).

blink.gif Wow, really? I'd suggest confirming this with a few operators first. I have no idea why NVC would do this though...

The AVR is accurate, it's just a few days behind.

And some people might not have the time or desire (or even the nerve) to speak with a real person. Calling the AVR takes like a minute and gives you as up-to-date information as it can.

Plus, in some time zones, to call an operator would require calling late at night or early in the morning as the calling center is based in the US. The AVR is 24/7 which is more accessible for some people.

It still shows AVR information on NVC's site: http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3177.html Although, perhaps it takes awhile to update their website as it does for the AVR unsure.gif
