Ok so now after we have sent our DS-3032 TWICE and Paid the AOS Bill and the AOS package is already at NVC, then I get two emails 10 minutes ago with the DS-3032 kit and Instructions to pay the AOS Bill! LOL!

Of course this question is already in the FAQ's in the next natural question to ask: "The email comes with a Bar-coded DS-3032. If I already email a DS-3032 by email (in my case twice), do I send the Bar-coded one as well?" ... and the ANSWER is: NO! Wait for NVC to accept your first DS-3032 ... or in my case again: ONE of the TWO we already sent

People i have question, as my aunt ( our joint sponsor ) is delaying the case. my wife and i were thinking about her sister's husband to become our joint sponsor. HE told me he owed IRS money so he just pay them. Would that be a problem? this year he made 48.000 dollars and only have one son on his tax paper. By the way, he has a wife and they usually filing separately. is his support good enough to be the joint sponsor?>

Did you ship the AOS package? or are you waiting for IV bill to show and then pay it, then after IV bill is PAID,

then ship both AOS and IV together?

Okay so I recevied the checklist by email just now. Since I called and found out about it yesterday, I sent the revision yesterday as well. Are they going to send me yet ANOTHER checklist after they get my revised I864 and I864A that says I am missing all of the other documents that go along with the AOS package? Or will they be smart enough to add it to my initial packet before sending another checklist. Is my question clear? :bonk:

You only mail in the missing documents, not the entire package. You did it correctly.

I got a RFE today for my IV package. It was my stupid mistake when combining all the documents into one PDF file.

For EP (Electronic Processing) response to a RFE Checklist, do I just attach the request document without any coversheet (as instructed in the Checklist Cover Letter)?

Saylin, you can update the spreadsheet for my case: DS-230 sent on 3/7, RFE on 3/13.

Saylin, you can update the spreadsheet for my case: DS-230 sent on 3/7, RFE on 3/13.

For EP, have the bar-coded cover sheet for the IV package as the first page for the checklist response, then a cover letter (optional) explaining that this is a response to a checklist letter and what's contained in the PDF, and then finally the missing documents.

And updated the spreadsheet.

Hello guys,

4 Q's:

1) Do we need to include "AOS Payment Receipt" in the AOS package?

2) How do you guys verify if NVC received AOS package or IV package?

just by tracking # from the shipping company?

or

call NVC if they have received it?

3) After NVC has received it, Do we call them and ask them about the Status of the AOS or IV package, if it has been received and accepted?

4) By accepted, do you mean, no Checklist? moving onto case completion?

Good question steph as I probably will get a checklist tomorrow if you got yours today...lol! Another question, how does NVC go about the RFE, do they go ahead and pull our docs out of the stack of incoming mail in order to finish our case already or do we have to wait again in line till they get to the papers we resent? I mean how do they do it if any knows...just curious....
