Filling out the DS-261 online now.

I filled it out with my spouse's e-mail, but should I "appoint an agent or attorney to receive mail about your visa application" ?

And should I give them my mailing address for this? Or just leave my e-mail ? I would rather have them send everything to my e-mail rather than wait for snail mail.

For I-864, trying not to leave anything BLANK!

When a question is about other sponsors, I put NONE because Petitioner is the only sponsor.

1) What do you guys put in the $ fields?

Zero as in 0 or N/A or NONE?

2) Regarding other immigrants, Since beneficiary is the only Immigrant, in Q's #9, i put NONE under each names (a) to (e)

but What do put under "Relation ship to..." "DOB" "A-NUMBER" and "SSN"

- Do you put N/A or NONE as i did under Name fields. (a) to (e)

Have you guys continued, compiling more "EVIDENCE" after I-130 was submitted?

(such as more skype logs, phone records, email etc etc...after I-130 was submitted?)

Wondering if we need or its a good idea to have MORE evidence for the Interview?

or do we just take duplicate of what we sent to USCIS when I-130 was submitted?

Yes, I brought with me to the interview evidence gathered after the I-130 (skype logs, texts, cards from husband's family, etc). Depending on the consulate/embassy if they even look at evidence (Canada rarely asks for anything besides the required documents), they want to see PROGRESSION of the relationship, to see that it's continuing and not just a "front" to get a green card.

Yes, definitely check that off and fill in the mailing address. You won't get anything in the mail, it'll still go through email (if you give email addresses over to the operator), but you still have to appoint an agent, preferably based in the US.

Maybe you should look into the requirements for the I-864EZ. It's a shorter form. There are only three criteria and if you meet all three, you're eligible to use the form. My husband was eligible so we used the I-864EZ.

Calling DoS now... They are certainly... different... from NVC.. that's for sure...

I gave the lady who answered the case number... and then she said "hold please" and put me on hold for several minutes.

And then..... silence..... I think they forgot about me...

I guess I'll just try again and hope they don't forget about me this time...

Wow.... they are... really strange...

It's weird talking to them after talking to NVC. NVC may give us wrong information and such from time to time but they don't seem spaced out and barely there.

In any case, no interview information from them either.

That's how it was for me too. Bright sparks that they are, seems they decided to use different code for each bit.

It does depend which phase the moon is in.

It's not uncommon to take that long. It took around that long for mine. In the mean time, do you have all your information ready to go as soon as you do have your case number? Supporting documents ordered and available?

yes almost ready.As soon as i get the no i will apply for expedite.So i need the case no first.

I called them to expediate since i expediate Uscis after 6 month,they said i have to wait till i get the case no.

i expidate for financial loss due to medical reason.I had vehical accident last year.i was pedestrian but i was lucky i didnt had any broken bones.I went to rehab and all that.My husband has to travel all the way from states.He has expense on both side.My doc was nice enough to write a letter.Thats how i got my expedite

Woohooo ! AOS = PAID = Shipped the AOS Package!

Few hours ago AOS showed up as PAID!

I reviewed my AOS package once more time signed and dated.

Went to ship it USPS but i missed the Overnight Cut-Off time.

UPS Overnight was RIDICULOUS AT $70+

2nd day was $36 something So went to UPS 2nd day. NVC should get it Thursday Morning around 10am.

NOW Time for NVC to give me IV bill invoice!

Pay IV bill

Wait for it to Show as PAID

Then Ship the IV package!...........................
