Had a bit of a lovers tiff with my attorney last night over me telling them to prepare my DS-230 and I-864 packages ahead of the invoices being marked as paid.

I just don't understand why they wont prepare and be ready to roll when the good news comes in. Honestly! I even offered them overtime to get their act together.

So I guess we are now delayed. Good news is invoices are marked as paid as of 10 minutes ago.. so lets see how long it takes them now. I'm just glad we are almost done with the need for them.

Haha - rant over.

blink.gifNVC should have accepted your certified copies. They accepted mine without issue. Stupid reviewing officer headbonk.gif

And by the way, no, you don't need to get NEW originals for the interview. And even if you did, there's only one set of originals (hence the word ORIGINAL), and you're sending that to NVC.

And yes, it's possible to get a case complete this week still. Please stop freaking out. You're panicking over nothing.

IE eh? Trying to pay the fee again on IE takes me to a runtime error, and on Google Chrome it works. Ready to bust skulls.

When we were at this stage I paid the AOS fee no problem with Firefox but a few days later I couldn't pay the IV fee so ended up using Google Chrome. Are you sure you have your head at the correct angle when you are paying the fees and clicking with your right index finger.

I think this is a good idea. I just resend the same via e-mail, but did not receive an auto response this time.....

I see in your timeline that you received a DS-3032 via email on 3/8/12. We never got the DS-3032 kit email, although we don't need it anymore. I'm ready to pay the IV Application Fee and ready to send the IV package out but without a DS-3032 acceptance email, there is no IV fee bill to pay, and therefore everything is brought to a stop.

I don't know what to do. Feeling stucked! :o

Hi everyone,

I am currently waiting for NVC to give me a case number and have been so stressed. I received my NOA #2 acceptance on 2/23/2012. It's sitting in the office, but hasn't inputed into the system. I tried to talk to a supervisor unsuccessfully. NVC rep said that the file was received at the office on March 5. Really? From USCIS CA center package sent to east coast takes over 2 weeks?

I moved to Japan to be with my husband so we can go through this process together. I called US embassy in Japan to try and expedite through them, but their customer rep sounds like a robot. I sent an expedited service through USCIS, but it is really really slow. And it makes me even more upset to see that so many VJ's here are able to get their NVC case number in a snap.

USCIS package sent: 1/17/2012

NOA #1 received : 1/31/2012

NOA #2 received: 2/23/2012 (2/28 hard copy)

NVC case: pending

Wow on a bright side, you got your NOA2 in less than 1 month since NOA1. I waited for it 6 months and 9 days. :crying: It really depends on beneficiary country. This has got to be true.

-best wishes!

It actually doesn't. It depends on USCIS's workload and which desk your case landed on, whether it was a fast reviewing officer or a slow reviewing officer.

I sent my DS-3032 email Thursday of last week.

Got the Auto response right after.

Got the DS-3032 kit with AOS bill invoice yesterday.

But still no acceptance of DS-3032 email from NVC. :crying:

I was hoping the ds-3032 kit would be the acceptance email but Saylin says it has nothing to do with it. I'm sure Saylin is right.

The DS-3032 kit is sent to everyone in the "initial information" package that includes the case number and IIN. NVC generates this automatically, not caring if you've sent the DS-3032 email or even if you're eligible to send the online version DS-261 and don't submit the DS-3032.

Please somebody correct me if I'm wrong in my conclusions but there is something I don't understand. The DS-3032 is sent out in an email format as if it was a normal "INQUIRY" because it is sent to "NVCINQUIRY@state.gov" and as such it's treated and processed in the same order as any other email they get right?

Ok, so this is what I don't get. Call me dumb or whatever you wish but it just doesn't make sense that I sent an "INQUIRY" on Monday 3/5/12 and received a reply Thursday 3/9/12 ... but sent another "INQUIRY" the very following day Tuesday 3/6/12 and no answer as of today. So from one day (Monday) to the next (Tuesday), it has taken them almost 5 business days to get to that second email?

There is no way! Somenthing just doesn't look right knowing how quick NVC moves with things.
