I'm curious to know if you could send additional evidence substantiating your relationship once it arrives at NVC or should you only send the information/forms they request?

Nigeria is a hard consulate so yes please send extra evidence with you ds-230 package.

The embassy usually will not look at your evidence athe interview.

But bring plenty of evidence to the interview also

now getting a move on this...about how long does it take to process the fee? when can i send over my aos packet?

One question that isn't on the FAQ... when would be the wisest time to schedule the medical? I've heard that you can do it as soon as you receive your case number at NVC, but I've also heard that you should wait until it gets to the consulate so that they can match up the medical results to the right file. They have to have received the medical results before you can go to the interview, right?

I didn't include any questions on the medical or interview as it doesn't really pertain to the NVC process.

There are only a few places that can do advance medicals (Philippines, London). You have to do your own research as to what is best for your case as this didn't apply to my case, so I don't know much about it.

Guys i do not know what is going on with my case, my wife just add the IV fee to her sister's account i went to the sister to make the payment, now i got the message : " routing number is invalid" she read it twice for me i re add it, i got the same message. i am lost, i do not know what to do to have the case moving forward

Saylin you see what is happening to me, Satan is working against us. The case is blocked for almost 2 weeks now. When it's not our joint sponsor delaying, it is the payment causing problem

This is the second time the fee showed paid for a couple of days and after shows rejected. Tuesday and wednesday my wife and i respectively called and both operator told us that the money was cleared. This morning i check just to look for something on the portal and i see REJECTED. my wife confirm with the bank that there was no transaction made on this account

Well it looks odd. But my son likes it and a friend of my nephew's who visited form the UK likes it.

And China is one of the higher fraud country so lots of evidence is required. Canada is one of the lowest fraud country so no evidence needed.

I see I presume there are a few of those - high fraud countries. And the way Canadians talk about the US and Americans it's surprising that there's any fraud at all. I didn't bother with a lot of evidence because we have been married for a number of years.

Just submitted my DS-261.

Payment portal is working now too. I know my AoS bill has been invoiced (gives me the option to pay on the DS-261 site) but from the regular payment portal... it doesn't show the box to select it. Not grayed out or anything, it's just nonexistent. When I click "pay" on the DS-261 site, I get a server error message

Poutine might look odd, but it's good. Hence, it's a Montreal delicacy.

And yeah, Canadians are rarely asked for evidence at the time of the interview. Despite this, I still suggest you bring as much as you can. Just to be safe.

Tried it on Chrome and IE with the same result. CEAC is falling apart at the seams

I've seen what you described happen before. It usually clears up within a day or so. Just keep checking today; hopefully it clears before midnight eastern time so you can pay the bill!
