I KNOW!! I was just on hold, and every time he told me to wait I was like "for you, Piglet, anything, but can I pinch your little cheekies? :P" (yeah it was a sick day, I'm easily amused LOL :) )

USCIS (192 days, August 24 2011 to March 2 2012. No RFE's).
NVC (30 days, March 12 to April 11. Case expedited due to NVC errors).

Montreal US Consulate, awaiting interview date (14 days, April 12 to April 26).

05/09/2012 - medical in Toronto - passed!
05/22/2012 - interview - passed!
05/25/2012 - visa in hand!!! biggrin.png
06/09/2012 - POE @ YWG (Winnipeg Int'l Airport)

Removal of Conditions submitted March 24, 2014, received March 26, 2014

NVC says they still have not received my case, even though USCIS sent it last week! Is this normal?

It took 10 days, 6 business days for NVC to receive my case. Yours will be any day now!

Quick question that I haven't seen anybody ask lately: Did NVC get rid of their AVR (Automated Voice Response) System? ... I remember you could call at anytime (24/7) and the AVR would work, but now it doesn't even come up. Just curious :blush:

I think you may be at least temporarily right. I haven't gotten the avr option since last week! It's ok, only cranky op so far has been miss cranky britches this morning...but maybe she just hasn't talked to Piglet in a while, he'd turn her frown upside down! :)

NVC operator just confirmed that they received both our cases today (NOA2 on March 2, 2012). Like other posters with the same NOA2 date i'm hoping to get a case number tomorrow :)

06/10/11 - Married

USCIS: (224 days)

07/22/11 - Mailed I-130 petitions for wife and step-daughter

07/28/11 - NOA1 for both

02/21/12 - RFE for both (received hardcopy on 2/25)

02/28/12 - Responded to RFE for both(received by CSC on 2/29)

03/02/12 - NOA2 for both(received hardcopy on 3/8)

NVC: (37 days)

03/12/12 - NVC Received both

03/21/12 - NVC case number and IIN received for both & Emailed Choice of Agent for both

03/23/12 - AOS bill invoiced & paid for both

03/26/12 - AOS bill shows paid & AOS Packets mailed for both

03/27/12 - Choice of Agent accepted for wife (sent another for step-daughter via email and express mail)

03/28/12 - Choice of Agent accepted for step-daughter & IV bill invoiced & paid for wife

03/29/12 - IV bill shows paid for wife & IV bill invoiced & paid for step-daughter

03/30/12 - IV bill shows paid for step-daughter & IV Packets mailed for both

04/04/12 - IV Packets reviewed. Checklist issued for Divorce Decree for my wife. Step-daughter's was accepted and her case closed

04/10/12 - Divorce Decree accepted after supervisor review & wife's case closed

04/16/12 - Expedite requested for both cases due to NVC error

04/18/12 - Expedite request approved for both cases and sent to Santiago Embassy

Embassy: (15 days)

04/24/12 - Embassy received both cases from NVC

04/25/12 - Wife went to Embassy for document review. Interview date assigned for both cases.

04/26/12 - Medical Exam for both. Result - approved.

05/07/12 - Interview date for both. Result - approved!

05/09/12 - Received both Visas

05/16/12 - POE Atlanta

Got the NVC case # on Thursday 3/8/12 and emailed the ds-3032 on same day also.

got the AOS bill invoiced and paid.

But still haven't received any "DS-3032 acceptance" email from NVC. :help:

Sigh...sent DS-3032 on March 7th and have yet to receive an acceptance e-mail. I guess they will reply in the order received. :whistle:

Ok now ... I'm starting to think that something wrong is going on with our email addresses. NVC operator tells me they sent 2 emails to me (Petitioner) and my wife (Beneficiary) on Wednesday, March 7th but we never received anything. I have triple checked that our emails were spell correctly and they have always been. There are no SPAM/JUNK filters or anything like that on our accounts. However, I did send an email to NVCINQUIRY@state.gov last Monday to request something different and I did get their reply with the problem resolved by Thursday.

The reason of my concern is that we sent the DS-3032 last Tuesday from my wife's email (Beneficiary) and I'm afraid not to get an email acceptance from NVC. Any ideas of what could be possibly happening here? Has anybody experienced anything like it?

Sigh...sent DS-3032 on March 7th and have yet to receive an acceptance e-mail. I guess they will reply in the order received. :whistle:

Hi guys,

Just now got the email from NVC. Attachment file has total of 6 pages (all have barcode on top right)

1st pg (green color fonts): says app on behalf of beneficiary is ready to process and to verify the beneficiary's address. Before processing, to pay the AOS fee.

2nd pg: Important notice: "If the applicant intends to adjust status with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), please contact the NVC before making any payments or taking further action. etc... 2) termination after no contact for 1 yr and 3)children over 21 etc..

3rd pg: AOS processing bill invoice $88 and payment instruction and few extra bar-codes here

4th pg: contact NVC if you have q's etc...

5th pg: DS-3032 page with beneficiary's name on top in Green color fonts

6th pg: DS-3032 choice of agent information.

I have another question. The DS230 has to be signed by the beneficiary. How is this supposed to happen? He lives in Syria. It takes weeks for mail to get there. How can I get him to sign anything? Other than by faxing it to him, and having him fax it back. Is a fax acceptable?

Saylin's probably covered this already -

but

The DS-230 form is downloadable, a fillable-pdf file.

Lets assume yer beneficiary has computer access, yes?

He can download the form, fill it out, print it out, sign it

then send it to you via DHL/FEDEX/UPS, along with the multitude of civil documents that he needs.

But - I see yer an EP casetype - so disregard anything about you mailing stuff to him, or him mailing stuff to you.

All is electronic - forms are done online, other docs are emailed in. Heck - even the form numbers are different.

I know I ought not panic... but it is hard not too....

NVC just told me they have already scheduled all days in April and we're going to have to wait until May. I'm going to be told that now every time I call aren't I?

Trips:

Jan2010 - First Trip, met in person

Jul2010 - Trip two!

Nov2010 - Trip Three, Got engaged :)

Feb2011 - Trip Four. Spring Festival, Lucky Money all around :D

April2011 - Trip Five... Going to the chapel...

July2011 - Trip Six... Honeymoon in Xiamen :D

October2011 - Trip Seven... Beijing and the Great Wall :)

clickie link things are easier than attempting to send papers to syria, and having them sent back, wouldn't you agree? And to be quite honest....I read all of her link things.....and to be blunt.....they still dont answer my question.

Syria requires ep. Embassy in syria is closed as of Feb. 6. All are sent to Amman, Jordan. Who does not require ep. But if I request interview at Lebanon, they do not do ep. That is where my question stems. So, do I follow the ep cos of Syria, or no because they are closed? I honestly don't think anyone knows this answer, I will just have to see what NVC instructs me to do.

4/30/12 - finally received confirmation email aos/i-864 approved (case was held due to embassy transfer request!!!)
