Yup, that's it.

Hopefully the payment clears that fast, but lately it seems to be taking around two days, not one. While you're waiting, just go over the AOS (and get other people to go over your AOS, especially your I-864 form). Get the envelope ready with the address on the bar-coded cover sheet. Get the postage ready to go. Do everything, EXCEPT mail the package!

Thanks!

I'm actually shipping it in a 1/2" folder w/ each set of documents inside a document-sheet-protectors.

I know it kinda sounds like an over-kill but :innocent:

(ps: I didn't realize the payment portal only takes payment by bank via routing # and act #). I thought i could pay by Visa.

In any case, as you advised earlier, i paid w/ IE but converting the receipt in pdf was kinda buggy as the names would show up as random characters so used chrome to convert to pdf, worked like a charm)

Why are you converting the receipt? The receipt is NOT needed in either package. You just need to include the bar-coded cover sheet from the payment portal, not the receipt.

IDK what these images mean...haha

So we got our First 2 emails from NVC.

1) From NVC sent to petitioner with beneficiary cc'd + a 6 pages attachement file

2) From NVC sent to beneficiary with petitioner cc'd + a 4 pages attachment file (didn't have the AOS bill invoice as the #1)

Im thinking why they didn't include the AOS bill invoice in their email to the beneficiary is because they received our DS-3032 email or simply from the call i made in which i gave both email addresses.

hmm i'm not sure which one triggered this but it's gotta be the ds-3032 email because it said in the #1) email that "The immigrant visa petition filed on behalf of <Beneficiary name> has become eligible for further processing at the National Visa Center (NVC)."

Just for my own record.

Did andybody ever tell you how over-meticulous i can sometimes get? :P

At least you got correspondence from NVC. Figure this one out, I spoke to an operator about 3 hours ago and he said: "They had sent us via email instructions to submit the DS-3032 and the AOS Bill" ... I'm like #######? We never got anything like that and oh! BTW: The AOS package is already at your building Sir! It arrived this morning LOL!

Huh? Your sig says you paid and mailed your AOS?

03-07-2012 -- AOS fee paid online

03-08-2012 -- AOS status: PAID; AOS package mailed (Fedex)

In anycase, I would make sure it's not in your SPAM or JUNK folder. Verify with NVC that they got the correct email address.

Quick question that I haven't seen anybody ask lately: Did NVC get rid of their AVR (Automated Voice Response) System? ... I remember you could call at anytime (24/7) and the AVR would work, but now it doesn't even come up. Just curious

Yup.

That's called a 'ds-3032 kit'

referenced here:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/221785-ds-3032-slowdown/page__p__3560467#entry3560467

but - if 'we' = USCitizen Petitioner, something's really wonky, as the ds-3032 kit is standard.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
