Hum that is great. It is been a long time since i posted something here. My joint sponsor finally got her employment letter now she is waiting for her tax transcripts from IRS. there is an update with my wife pregnancy, she gonna change the doctor and get another one. If an expedite is requested at this stage to NVC ( only AOS is missing ) under high risk pregnancy will NVC just forward the case to the embassy and schedule us a fast interview?

Okay, a little confused because of what the NVC operator told me.

I have my case #, my invoice ID #, and beneficiary ID #. Great.

However, when I log in to NVC Payment portal I can't pay. Okay, I get that.

Now, I read on Saylin's FAQ Guide that I should go ahead and send my DS-3032 by e-mail, or in my case (since I'm Mexico and they do online processing) to fill out the online DS-261 found online. Now I can't fill out my DS-261 when I go to http://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx . It says, "Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time. Please contact the National Visa Center if you believe that you have received this message in error."

Does this mean that I can only proceed once I am able to log into that address? And this only happens once my e-mail invoice has been processed? Or can I just bypass this and send in the DS-3032 via e-mail skipping the online DS-261 form?

Thanks!

The same thing happened to me when I was at NVC. My case number was assigned on a Tuesday. But I couldn't log onto the online forms site. I had the exact same message you just posted. Wednesday the NVC was closed due to weather, but on Thursday, I was finally able to log in and submit the DS-261; just ONE business day after the case number was assigned.

I know some Canadians still submit the DS-3032 (even though online forms are required), and they get accepted without problems. But I'd recommend submitting the DS-261. Just give it a day or two since you just recently got your case number. NVC has to take some time to input your case, and once they're done, you'll be able to log in.

And don't forget to update your signature ;)

First, the expedite request is sent to the embassy. If they approve it, they'll tell NVC (who will then tell you), and forward the case to the embassy. The remaining package(s) are either then sent to the embassy before the interview or on the date of the interview. Then, the embassy will issue an interview date. But this is only if the expedite is approved. But, if you don't even send a request, then of course it won't be approved. Still not sure why a request hasn't been sent for your case. You've had a case number for more than a month now! :o

I'm confused by your question. You ask one thing, but have done the other. (You ask about IV before AOS, but then say you sent the AOS before IV).

Either way, it doesn't matter which you send first. There's no absolute FIRST package to send. NVC will accept and review whatever package you send them...

We sent a request, they wanted supporting which we couldn t provide as my wife, according to that doctor, was fine. He did not want to give us a formal letter to send to the embassy just a simple paper of prescriptions. Last wednesday my wife went to ultrasound and she is considered as high risk pregnancy. From that, he still didn t want to provide a formal letter and offerted my wife to make abortion. We are christian and we do not believe in this and God confirmed after prayers that our babe is fine. The doctor did not even wait for the test result from the ultrasound and he was like forcing my wife to make abortion. So now, we decided to give up on this doctor and get a new one today. That is why we could not send any supporting documents to that request of expedite

Yes we were prsaying about it and God will give us a good one who will provide to NVC all necessary documents needed in order to have the case expedited. If i got the case expedited do you think, after a case completed march 20th ( for example ), i will get an interview in less than 2 months? although haiti's embassy interview are schedulted on 4 or 5 months after a case completed

I can't help with time frames for expedites as it differs by consulate/embassy and how fast they can schedule you an earlier interview.

there is an update with my wife pregnancy, she gonna change the doctor and get another one.

I'm glad to hear this, I think it was a wise decision. From what you explained, I really doubt about the previous doctor's ethical standards. Hopefully, the new doctor will result more helpful for you and will provide you with the necessary letter.

Good luck.

Before, getting a SIF would indicate a case complete. But for the last few months, people have still been able to log in, after case complete or even interview date scheduled. Technically, you'll get an interview letter by email, so there's actually no real reason to pester NVC and/or DOS. But, if you want to know as soon as the interview date has been scheduled...
