Agree. NVC assign the interview scheduling. I think what happen is that the embassies send out all schedules for the month and NVC schedule accordingly as first in first service basis. When I called the rep in NVC she told me today that unfortunately NVC couldn't schedule you for March because because these types of visas are scheduled the 2nd part of every month" not word by word but close.

It doesn't look much, but when you consider that CR1 (in this instance) get schedules only in the mornings and only less than 4-5 beneficiaries PLUS Casablanca embassy works visas only 4 days a week, the list will be a little bit long.

Thanks Saylin - the packages, this is where I guess I am at the mercy of the Lawyer. Not much I can do now.

Did you send the packages (already completed) to the lawyer or is the lawyer compiling the packages?

Hahaha... yes, we provided everything to the lawyer - they compile and send off. I guess they can only do that once the invoice is marked as paid anyway right? Or no?

A side question, at what point should I call the US Doctors office in London to schedule the medical? This has to be done ahead of the interview but I hear bad things about having it too early?

How much was AOS and IV separately?

AOS = $88

IV = $404

Make sure you keep on the lawyer to make sure they send it as soon as you're able to. And yes, you have to wait for the bills to appear as PAID in the payment portal. Did you ever get the IIN so you can check on this yourself?

I know for those in the UK, you can do advance medicals (like the Philippines, and a few others). I'd suggest searching for this answer in the regional sub-forum and see if you can find your answer there. If not, just start a new thread, I'm sure UK experts will answer you promptly.
