...

Of course, none of that counts the massive delay caused by doing the OPTIN too soon. That puts the time at over 30 days.

...

Hey foobaz, by my spreadsheet calculations, you were only at NVC for 32 days. Despite the delay with your optin, you still beat my time in NVC of 37 days. Be happy :P

Hahaha...

There is that. :)

Actually, when you toss out that delay it was barely 10 days. When you toss out delays caused by weekends and waiting for payments, it is only 5 days. Toss out the lost couple of days due to the error in my first AOS and it was barely 3 days. That's nothing to sneeze at.

Do you count days starting from the case number? I wasn't sure whether to count from case received at NVC or case number received.

I start from case number assigned. For my spreadsheet, if I don't know when a case number was assigned, then I go by the "case received" date on timelines. But I prefer going by case number assigned because that's when the ball is in YOUR court to either speed up or slow down the process. That week or two (or more) between NOA2 to case received to case number assigned, there's nothing YOU can really do, thus it really shouldn't count as time in NVC.

Congratulations!!

Thanks :)

Remember, there's a difference between EP and just emailing the DS-3032, which is allowed by all countries (whether eligible for EP or not, it doesn't matter). So, as soon as you get a case number, the DS-3032 can be emailed from the beneficiary's email account. Please re-read the first two posts in this thread as it has valuable information you have missed.

Figured headbonk.gifheadbonk.gif

Interesting that they said they don't check the joint sponsor's information, just the petitioner's.

Anyways, hope you get a CC today!!

Please re-read the first two posts in this thread. You have missed lots of valuable information.

Hehe, been keeping it for almost 2 years now yes.gif Started it before I even got to NVC!

Yup, very good indication that your AOS bill is being invoiced!

And you're welcome!

Jeez, is the AVR still acting up? blink.gifNVC needs to fix that, pronto headbonk.gif
