NVC called back.. yay!

The supervisor told me that they did definitely receive my updated/corrected I-864EZ (she had to ask someone to go check their email system for it). She also confirmed receipt of the DS-230 package I sent early day before.

And.....

She confirmed our evidence made it from USCIS to NVC and in the SAFEFILE!!!!!!!!!!!

w00t!!!!

Out*&^&^*ing standing! Please to cook 300 Venison Jiaozi this weekend, to celebrate (give them to a homeless shelter if'n you can't eat them - that's what I do) - and don't gimme this cr@p about 'no deer' - you can find a hunting buddy with a nice shoulder in the freezer.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Good morning to all VJer's, from top of hour here on East Coast,

I have been tracking few people of my own, I have come to a conclusion that Emailed DS-3032 response time is currently approximately 4-5 days. That's just my observation by looking at few recent timelines.

I have emailed on 3/5 and haven't received any rejection as yet so I am hoping an acceptance either today or Monday latest.

I got GZO number for daughter. Still waiting on the two case files joined together. After these two cases get combined, I'll email AOS and then DS-230.

Thanks

Excellent. You can still pay fees on the GUZ #, pay fees on the GZO # also -

in time, when you show 'paid' back at the portal, get the coversheet on each thing (AOS, IV) and include the coversheet with each thing (AOS,IV).

For 'when to send the EP packets' - IMO - is best to send when have GZO #'s on both casefiles. It's ok to wait a bit.

Recently , I have had conversations with few immigration attorneys lately (close family friends) and they know nothing about emailing NVC or this sort of route than one can take. I explained them and they realized this deficiency in their practice of not knowing such things existed. Weird!!

I talked to a fairly helpful operator this morning (side note: I've never had a mean operator. Maybe because I sound like I'm 12 years old on the phone  ). Anyway, she said that when they issue a checklist, they are only looking at the petitioner's documents. That's why it said I need a joint sponsor, which I obviously already knew. She said that she could see on the screen that I have a joint sponsor so I have nothing to worry about.

She also said that they are reviewing my other package as we speak so maybe I'll get a CC today!!

Not weird at all!

Immigration Attornies, on the whole, are not known for speed when dealing with NVC.

There are exceptions, sure, but usually after a petitioner has TRAINED them, properly.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

They should have rec'd your case by now. I would say keep calling. Did you speak to an operator? If yes, you may get your case # early next week.
