When I had to respond to a checklist, the revised document was accepted 3 days later and I received a case complete. I saw they accepted the revised I-864EZ you sent them, congrats on the progress.

Firstly, the I-130 is not an application, it's a petition. NVC will receive the full folder from USCIS.

I've been there, you are in for what is probably the hardest and anxiety filled wait you will ever experience. PM me if you want to know the layout of the building the Consulate is in.

If by "option email" you are talking about OPTIN for Electronic Processing, don't bother with the OPTIN email, EP is not available for cases that are going through the Hong Kong Consulate.

Thankfully, for better or worse I've been to the Consulate before. I can imagine what it's going to be like waiting for her. I'll probably try and find a comfortable spot in the coffee shop and attempt to sleep the time away. Better that than going insane with worry.

As to the revised I-864EZ, acceptance isn't yet confirmed. There are indications that they're looking at it though. :)

I'm afraid the interview won't be a closure. I all goes well and they say we're approved, I'll be anxiously waiting for my package containing the passport with the visa, spending my days tracking it online. Then I'll be afraid something could go wrong at POE. Then I'm gonna be anxioulsy waiting for the green card. I might relax for a bit until ROC time comes.

Why would you say that?? Are you trying to kill me??:crying:

Well... as I said.. it is exceptionally rare.

Quick question- I know the FAQ mention that the IV is available to pay after getting the DS3032 approval email...but anyone know what is the current estimate time that NVC is taking to load the IV bill after the DS3032 is approved? I know I am very inpatient.

Hi all,

Does a household member include his/her assets to satisfy income requirements of 125%. Like assets include government backed stable funds and etc.

Usually just a few days. At the beginning of the NVC process, everything seems to take "just a few days".

I believe assets are optional. Up to you whether or not to use them.

Guys,

Nothing bad will happen, everything would be just great and awesome and will get with our spouses soon...no need to worry, impact what you can control and don't worry about what you can't!

If your friend is using IE and it's still persisting, then yes, it happens. It clears up within a few days.

Are you sure it was your friend?

No, it is not normal (depending on her browser), what error message she's getting? what "she's not able to pay" looks like? could be a browser issue or even as simple as popup blocker issue.

EDIT: was she able to CHECK the check button? Or was it grayed out.
