There we go. They should be getting to your DS-3032 email soon :)

Yeah, if you have the tax transcripts for 2008-2010, then no need to include the 1040s and W2s.

As for the pay stubs, do they have a YTD amount on them? If so, then only the most recent one is needed.

Matt

Five months is fine. Since pay stubs are optional in the first place, there's really no "minimum" (or even "maximum") amount to send.

CONGRATS

My tax returns are about 20 pages each, 21 with the 1099's. I'm self employed so I have a lot of ####### to write off and file, plus I itemize :)

I do have the 2011 Returns and 1099's file, I'm hoping the IRS finishes my tax return soon so I can get the transcript and not have to send them a small book of stuff for one tax year.

Our joint sponsor is exempt from filing tax returns because his income is from a Veterans disability pension.

The IRS has been giving me the run around this year. It seems they used a new fraud detection system and anyone that filed for EIC, self employment taxes or CTC got hit with fraud and their returns had to be gone over again by hand. After a week of using the new system they went back to the old one because of the headaches. The first date they gave me was Feb. 15, then March 6, then March 13, then March 17, and finally back to March 13. I hate the IRS

Hey Jiang,

I have a question, did you send both I-130's together or seperately? No there isn't a name for when they are combined. What I would do is send an email to them with your name as petitioner and both beneficiarie's name and case numbers and request they be combined. This should be done automactically at NVC but sometimes they miss. Also, on the payment portal there's a related cases spot. For mine it says:

Related Cases

John Smith, the petitioner of this case, SDO********, has also at least one other related case which is currently in process at the National Visa Center. The AOS fee payment for this case will satisfy the AOS fee requirement for the related case(s) listed below.

-SDO**********

If you see this then they are combined.

Matt

Thank you for your valuable inputs. I'll keep an eye on the site.

I just received a notice from NVC to inform me that my step-daughter case can be further processed, it's an AOS bill along with DS-3032. I waited for over 10 days for them to do it. I just emailed them yesterday about DS-3032, and they sent it to me today.

I need to pay for AOS and IV fees for my wife and my step-daughter, just like the fee for i-130 filings. Right?

Best regards

Jiang

AOS for daughter - no.

AOS for wife - yes

IV for daughter - yes

IV for wife - yes

you OPT IN successfully for daughter?

soon, since you are EP case for China, the casefile # will change from GUZ to GZO.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

I was looking at Saylin's spreadsheet earlier and at the beginning of February they were closing cases in just a couple of days. So maybe they'll speed up again soon!

NVC's time frames are constantly changing as their workload is constantly changing. Not by much, but just by a few days. I think it's still taking just a week or two to review packages. If you don't get a CC this week, next week for sure.

sweet. minus 35 pages right there!

just 1 most recent pay stub? or 1 month of most recent pay stubs?

I read on another post saying that 2011 transcripts wont be available till after April. Can anybody confirm this?

...

If it has a YTD amount, then you just need the most recent one, as it'll show how much you've earned this year.

And I believe that if your return has been processed and a refund issued, then you can request for a tax transcript. I don't think you have to wait for April to request them.

Our AOS fee went through today :) Sending off my package tonight :D

Yay, progress, grats! kicking.gif
