Wouldn't that make creating your own copies of whatever you want saying whatever you want pretty easy?

Well yes forging documents is always easy, but submitting fake documents is a crime nicely called "faux et usage de faux" punished by a max of 3 years in jail.

No refund for us anyway since it's all foreign income being excluded so it was really not worth the pain!

...

Yeah, my husband made his income in the US (since that's where he lived), so there was definitely a refund. But in your case, I completely understand why you did MFS as there was no refund for you guys :(

I was confused by that too. There's also no place on the timeline for "return instruction packet". Or I'm just not seeing it.

Don't worry, it's not there. I suggested changing the timeline back in 2010 I think, but no one replied to that thread in the site-discussion forum headbonk.gif

Just tracked my AOS package, which I sent in the late afternoon yesterday. It arrived at 7:22am at NVC, guess living close to NVC has it's perks. I didn't even express it.

So when should I call and start harassing them about my case being complete. Tomorrow perhaps.:rofl:

Definitely start calling tomorrow yes.giflaughing.gif

Had a cat emergency last night so no posting for me but actually it was quite nice being in a very quiet vet office with nothing but my book.

...

Hope your cat is doing fine!

And now that the emergency is over, where's my poutine? :Dlaughing.gif

Hi all... Just joining this thread! I received NOA2 the last week of February and am still waiting to be assigned a case number at NVC.

Welcome! You should either get your case number this week or next yes.gif Just keep calling every single day and asking an operator if one has been assigned.

Waiting on my case number. Thanks for the helpful info, Saylin. Can you add me to your spreadsheet?

Added! And welcome to the thread!

Don't worry about 24 pages. Our AOS package was 30 pages (we had 5 months worth of pay stubs laughing.gif).

Like I told LaurenNSpongy (since you both share the same date), you should either get it this week or next. Just keep calling every day. In the meantime, got all the packages ready to go?

Thank you, Saylin! :) We included one month's worth of paystubs (he gets paid weekly, so 4 stubs) because he's got an employment letter as well, and been at the job for coming on 4 years (and can easily support me on AOS). We used his 2011 tax documents too, as well as 2010 and 2009. Think that'll do it?

That'll definitely do it good.gif Are you sending in tax transcripts for all three years, or...?

The only reason we added so many pay stubs was that he just got this new job in June 2010, and he hadn't filed his 2010 taxes to prove it, so pay stubs + employment letter was our proof yes.gif
