Why haven't you guys all made the transition over to the April thread? lol, i keep finding new posts here... :)

I think this thread is more helpful as you can ask questions and get quick answers and they don't get drowned in a see of off-topic posts which makes finding your answers really hard.

gezz the more i read the more question i come up with.

Situation: my ( the petitionier) Divorce was finalized 2 months before i got married (to the benificiary). Yeah i know the embassy gonna rip us appart with this one.

Question: Should i send NVC my only original Divorce Deree (which i have ready in my packet to be sent) Or should i get certified copied for the court?

For the NVC stage IV Packet. The Petitioner is not required to submit their divorce decree. You only need the divorce decree for the beneficiary.

So if I read your post correctly and you are the petitioner then you dont need to send in your divorce decree.

should i send the choice of agent right now thru email or should i wait until they bill me? thanks

I suggest sending it now, so you don't waste any time.

If it gets rejected, then just re-send it asap.

Like dimples said, the petitioner's divorce information isn't needed for the IV package as that package is all about the beneficiary. The only case you'd send yours is if this was for an IR-5 case. I would suggest bringing it to the interview though, just in case.

For the NVC stage IV Packet. The Petitioner is not required to submit their divorce decree. You only need the divorce decree for the beneficiary.

So if I read your post correctly and you are the petitioner then you dont need to send in your divorce decree.

Okay, that operator has NO idea what they're talking about whatsoever. The DS-3032 is part of the IV track. And both the tracks run parallel and independently of one another.

If your AOS is showing as paid, then send the AOS package! Make sure you have everything that's needed included!

And if you haven't emailed the DS-3032 (following the template that I linked to in the first post), then do it ASAP!! The way they're suggesting is not needed. You simply fill out some data in the body of the email and send that off. No printing, signing, scanning needed.

Thanks Saylin, I have emailed the DS- 3032 to the NVC and today the AOS package will also get mailed out. Does the NVC sends an email that ur DS 3032 has been accepted ?

Yes, usually they send out an acceptance email. The best way to know it's accepted is by the invoicing of the IV bill.

Earlier, i checked the AOS fee online and states "not invoiced", when i cheked it again this afternoon, the information about the petitioner and the line that states "not invoiced" under AOS fee section are missing. On IV fee section, the beneficiary's info and line that states "not invoiced" are still visible. Has anyone experienced this? all that this means is that literally the IV bill is not invoiced and the AOS hasn't even been generated. I dealt with this too, but in reverse. My AOS bill came up and IV wasn't even visible. It is only visible after your receive your invoice from NVC. The not invoiced thing could just mean that it is just about to come to you, i would definitely call about the IV bill if i were you...and as with the AOS you just have to be patient :-)

Wait for 2 days.I think your Aos fee is getting invoiced.When did you receive your case no?

Well said! No offence to anyone in the April thread... but the NVC content is lost in nonesense, March is much better with minimal OT chit chat :-)

Now back to the thread... the NVC are really going to make me wait till after the 2nd week of april for an interview date, or so it seems :-(

I got my AOS invoice today can i wait to get the IV invoice before paying or do i need to pay AOS 1st before the IV is generated? I asked in the April thread but my question got lost in the masses.

I got this too yesterday and by today i received the invoice. so by tomorrow you should get your AOS invoice.
