haha! What car would that be!? mine is...uhhmmm...ok sentimentality kicks in but I want a navy blue Silverado 4x4 :) (hubby had one, let his dad buy it off him and got a really nice Dakota instead...still a good truck but I miss Leonard :) )

LOL...and carrying my muddy boots alongside me :)

[..]

Well, I've wanted a blue Toyota Prius for years now :D And my ultimate dream car would be an Audi R8, but that wouldn't be practical in the winter laughing.gif

And yes, I'll hold your hand and carry your boots :)

:bonk: I did not put a cover letter for my AOS packet. Just the document cover sheet that they provided. Hope all is well. Will call to see if my AOS packet was accepted.

With the scanned bar code sheet, right? That's all what you need actually, cover letter is mostly to make it easy for your documents to be looked at and triaged (preferable but not recommended).

Just got a case number!!!!!!!!!!! Now I can enjoy the weekend :)

Congrats, AWESOME!

My parents had that car. Daddy bought it brand new in 1967 with his sign on bonus from the Air Force. They drove that car FOREVER. Well, until 1988 when my mom got a brand new Pontiac LeMans LE lol. The old 'maro sat around for years with a busted transmission. When my sister married her husband, who's a big gear head, he restored the car for our dad as a 60th birthday present. I'm not allowed to even BREATH on that car LOL

If I can't get that Camaro. I'll settle for my very first car, but totally restored.. a 1964 Chevy Covair Monza Spider. I kinda broke the rear axle on it drag racing it in high school. My dad was livid, he sold the car, and I was with out wheels until I bought my own. Damn I wish I had that car now.

Nope, when Saylin is around, there is no icky mud to be stepped in no0pb.gif

Don't worry about it; cover letters are optional. Not sure if the reviewing officers even read them laughing.gif

AOS Packet was okay, said the operator. I guess that means it was accepted. I shouldn't expect an email to this effect, right? Only those in EP, right?

I'm gonna sleep a whole night! Our baby will be just a few months and it will for sure be his time to take the night shifts when we get there

But we'll also do a trip down to Legoland and Seaworld in San Diego and swing by Disneyworld, it'll be a treat to my son before school starts

Maybe we'll be there at the same time. Hubby's job is close to Legoland and Laure (of Laure & Colin) is moving to San Diego.

Well, my Prius is the only practical car. Thus I continue to wait for someone to win the lottery and pass me $35k so I can buy it :D

AOS Packet was okay, said the operator. I guess that means it was accepted. I shouldn't expect an email to this effect, right? Only those in EP, right?

I'd suggest calling back and asking specifically: "Has my package been reviewed and accepted?"

And no, you won't get any emails from NVC confirming they got it or accepted it.

OOOOOOOH you had a Monza!!!!!!!!!! I saw one of those at a smoke show/show and shine here in town...very nice :D

Yes I did, and I was too big of a 16 year old brat to realize what was given to me. Wow that was an awesome little car. Rear engine, In line 6, true dual carb, air cooled, four speed on the floor, flew like the wind and got 30mpg! Except I had to prop the air doors open with a stick so the engine wouldn't over heat, that made it CCOOOLLLD in the winter lol.
