Saylin whats wrong with EP online forms? Ive submitted DS 261 form a week ago but still getting no invoice for IV.I email DS 3032 to NVC today.See what happens.

Please keep in mind, EP and online forms are TWO DIFFERENT processes. Again:

EP = emailing packages

Online forms = completing forms online

And someone mentioned recently that NVC has had problems with EP cases and getting the bills invoiced. There was no need to send the DS-3032 as you've already submitted the DS-261. Patience is key at NVC.

Neela, Sheeshkabelle and I are both still waiting on our first invoices. Nigel told her yesterday that there's a system error and ep is taking longer to put in the system as of Wednesday last week. (However, Nikki told me there's no problem, they're just not ready, blah blah...I'm going to guess she's wrong on this one).

I know that two of you are still waiting.How is it possible?you guys are waiting for a week?If Ep has some kind of problem going on than how come i get invoiced after 2 days?And did you notice those who are doing snail mailing are getting everything so smoothly!Ep should be smooth :( .Poor three of us! we get our case no after 20 days now more than a week to get invoiced! :bonk:

Thanks for reminding :) I send the DS 3032 becoz a NVC operator told me if you want you can send DS 3032 as well.I send just to get peace of mind may be ONline forms depurtment are slow but NVCinquiry is not. :(

07/22/11 - Mailed I-130 petitions for wife and step-daughter

07/28/11 - NOA1 for both

02/21/12 - RFE for both (received hardcopy on 2/25)

02/28/12 - Responded to RFE for both(received by CSC on 2/29)

No online program will allow you to file married separately/jointly. That's why you have to file by PAPER. Then you put 'NRA' in the SSN section for the spouse for MFS.

You should NOT have filed as single. You are NOT single. You are legally MARRIED. IRS agents you talked to are not familiar with cases where the spouse lives abroad.

Amend your tax return ASAP.

if you are married and file single the irs and government loves you. the state department only cares about your annual gross income and depemdents for aos.this way if you file for welfare they have a record from you to get back their money. they understand filing single with spouse out of country. i did it in 1985. this is the second time i am going thru this process. this time i filed single with no dependents-because my kids only want my money but file for themselves-lol- and then to get the rest of my money back quickly, i amended my return to married to get the rest of my money from uncle sam. this i did with a w7 all the laws quoted here are to ensure a single person or seperated person does not file as married to get a bigger refund

I'm leaning towards Nigel's explanation. Other wise, why in the world would I have gotten the SIF, it went away, came back again, went away for three days and now.. back again.

Either that or my theory is correct and the US government just hates me. "Oh look! There's that Sheeshka chick again, lets delay her I-130, audit her income taxes, and just plain mess with her when her husband applies for his visa!"

NVC (30 days, March 12 to April 11. Case expedited due to NVC errors).

Montreal US Consulate, awaiting interview date (14 days, April 12 to April 26).

Removal of Conditions submitted March 24, 2014, received March 26, 2014

"RFE" for page 3 of application received, date March 27, 2014. Package re-submitted with all papers re-attached.

05/07/2014 - Biometrics in Charlotte, NC

11/05/2014 - APPROVED! Citizenship in 5 months!

11/10/2014 - NOA2 in hand.

I'm leaning towards Nigel's explanation. Other wise, why in the world would I have gotten the SIF, it went away, came back again, went away for three days and now.. back again.

Either that or my theory is correct and the US government just hates me. "Oh look! There's that Sheeshka chick again, lets delay her I-130, audit her income taxes, and just plain mess with her when her husband applies for his visa!"

He was here from last Friday.He works remotely as well.Today he gotta call from his boss becoz his work is getting busy and he had to go.He is comming back on Next week for few days though.Whats your plan for the weekend when he comes? :)
