USCIS (192 days, August 24 2011 to March 2 2012. No RFE's).
NVC (30 days, March 12 to April 11. Case expedited due to NVC errors).

Montreal US Consulate, awaiting interview date (14 days, April 12 to April 26).

05/09/2012 - medical in Toronto - passed!
05/22/2012 - interview - passed!
05/25/2012 - visa in hand!!! biggrin.png
06/09/2012 - POE @ YWG (Winnipeg Int'l Airport)

Removal of Conditions submitted March 24, 2014, received March 26, 2014

"RFE" for page 3 of application received, date March 27, 2014. Package re-submitted with all papers re-attached.

04/07/2014 - NOA1 Date

05/07/2014 - Biometrics in Charlotte, NC

11/05/2014 - APPROVED! Citizenship in 5 months!

11/10/2014 - NOA2 in hand.

11/20/2014 - 10 yr GC in hand! :D

I wish.. no.. just had a business trip.. then got crazy behind on reading and replying and the like.. these last couple of weeks of trying to get everything ready for the interview and getting the house ready too has been killer

Jan2010 - First Trip, met in person

Jul2010 - Trip two!

Nov2010 - Trip Three, Got engaged :)

Feb2011 - Trip Four. Spring Festival, Lucky Money all around :D

April2011 - Trip Five... Going to the chapel...

July2011 - Trip Six... Honeymoon in Xiamen :D

October2011 - Trip Seven... Beijing and the Great Wall :)

28 July 2011 - 20January 2012 - Day 175... USCIS at CSC finally processed our paper work.

30January2012 - NVC 'received' the paperwork

6February2012 - NVC GUZ case number assigned - Attempted to OPTIN to EP.

7February2012 - NVC GZO (EP) case number assigned

8February2012 - 27February Massive delay caused by sending the EP OPTIN email too soon :(

28February2012 - AOS Fee Paid

29February2012 - AOS Fee shows paid, AOS Package sent in

5March2012 - IV Fee shows paid (paid on 3March), IV (DS-230) Package sent in

6March2012 - AOS Rejected due to minor error, corrected version emailed in

8March2012 - Email received indicating AOS correction and DS-230 review in process

9March2012 - Case Complete Email - END NVC PROCESS

15March2012 - Interview Scheduled: 18April2012 (Document turn-in: 17April2012)

This morning I typed in my numbers in the payment thingy, knowing that it would just say PAID, I doubt they will revice our packages until today anyway, but there it was a SIF! I was so happy for a moment thinking the papers got there already and I was getting really really lucky...that was until I realised I typedin the wrong number!! :bonk::bonk:

Oh well now I got a taste of how I will fell when that day comes :blink::D

Maybe Darnell was just telling you what the operators will tell you so you'll be ready? Either way, as always you are free to do exactly how you please. If you want to call, by all means - call!

Beyond frustrated. Apparently, even though I was able to fill out and submit the DS-261 last Thursday before my SIF, they haven't requested my choice of agent yet??? And there's no system problem holding up any invoices but I'm free to call back next Monday if I haven't received anything by then???

Losing patience...I'm going to go try and work (fat chance), and try not to cry (again, fat chance). Also going to try and NOT tell my husband to sell his stuff and just get here. :crying:

got my AOS package sent by my husband yesterday,.how long will i hear an update from nvc then? I am preparing for my ds-230 form..from the question 31a about who will accompany me to the US named in 10 and 14.,do i need to write down my son cause i wrote him in no.14 ? but an operator from the nvc said i dnt need to write him since we have different visa, and he will not use my visa neither i..so put an N/A..is that so?? :bonk:

As for that DS-230 question, is your son immigrating with you on his own visa?

Yes he will have his own visa, IR2 visa?..do i need to write him in question 31a then?
