I would hold off an emailing it for now, if you get a checklist, you can quickly submit the new PDF. Otherwise, just have your wife bring the complete form to the interview.

That sounds reasonable. The only reason I'm tempted at all to email it in is there is no indication they've even reviewed the 'broken' one. I'd hate to end up losing two weeks over such an error. That April interview is getting a more distant dream.

1.. NVC Requirements for the DS-230 and

2.. GUZ IV Requirements for issuing the Visa.

Neither entities , for photos, care about the other's requirements.

Hi.,

Here's my case. I'd like to know the next steps to bring my wife and step-daughter (13 yr old) to the US.

1) Both i-130 approved

2) Both have NVC numbers

3) I enrolled my wife to electronic processing, and I paid AOS bill and IV bill online for my wife, and it showed paid status.

My question is what to do with my step-daughter. I never received any AOS bill, I email to NVCinquiry, but haven't heard back for a week. Should I email NVC my step-daughter's DS-3032? Or should my wife send in DS-3032 for her daughter? I want them to go to interview together.

You know I misspelled my mother's name on the DS230, reading and checking it 200 times didn't help

In my case, they either didn't notice, or corrected the mistake based on my birth certificate, so I'll just bring a corrected form at the interview.

Whatever happens, you're not gonna lose 2 weeks! If they generate a checklist, you'll be able to know it immediately (by calling daily) and answer asap. You might lose a couple days over it but not much more, really.

Now some info I wanted to share with everyone: in our March interviews thread, someone who had their interview yesterday in Manila was asked for their 2011 tax return + W2. It's actually the only thing the CO asked for! They had everything and got approved. Be prepared to bring your 2011 tax forms (you might not have the transcript yet) EVEN if your interview is BEFORE April 17th!!

That's really good to know. Are copies of the tax return + W2 acceptable?

I just checked and DOS still hasn't updated the DS-230 that expired 2/29/2012 . Which is good for me since I mailed my package after that but WOW.

I'm becoming more and more impatient the closer I get to a case closed . How difficult would it be to send out an automated message when they are reviewing your case and/or when it's completed? Answer: not difficult at all.

In the begining of the process i was using one phone, since december i use another phone to communicate with my wife. i will use both phone records to show to CO at the interview. Can i call NVC to have them add this new phone number i have?

I sent my AOS packet last week and I just called the AVR this morning:" We reviewed the package that you sent and we sent you a list of the incomplete or missing information on 03/05...blah blah blah" I know I sent all the appropriate information. I'm wondering if they are asking for the IV packet in order to complete the case (I did not send it yet). I submitted all tax transcripts all my job info, I mean there's no way that I could be missing ANYTHING....I feel so clueless right now!!!

They just the check list yesterday, I'll be happy if I get it by Friday...

CORRECTION GUYS....FALSE ALARM.....

I should've known better. Actually my AOS has been completed and the AVR system was referring to the DS-230 missing from the case (I didn't send it yet) to be completed. ONE MORE reason you should not trust the AVR!!!!!!!!
