After reading these two pieces, I have to know - did you actually read the WHOLE thread? You deserve a medal! :D:blush:

What else am I supposed to do while waiting for the case number? Back at the USCIS stage, my time was spent making charts and graphs, I have like 4 spreadsheets where I had my own predictions and such but now that I have my NOA2, I just don't feel like doing that anymore. I would much rather talk about food here!

:lol::lol::lol:

This thread is so much fun! But you guys do post a lot, it took me half an hour to get through all the posts I missed since last night.

Sbarro Pizza? Seriously? I never really understood Canadians. What surprised me more was not that Sbarro is considered a desriable and worth drooling food but that you can't find any near you in South Dakota! I thought Sbarro was the staple of every mall in the US. I believe there is one at the Mall of America too in DC right next to the Lincoln Memorial

Meno-is-mine, thanks for your comments and yes, you were one of those offenders who would come back to the September threads and look down on us who were still waiting and tell us, "It should be any day now ..." all the while coming to this thread here and discussing Poutine and other delicacies and laughing around with others using insane bus driver emoticons etc. and watching Canadian Wives at primetime

So on a serious note, I updated my AOS package and am scanning my 2011 tax return. Fortunately my office copier has a documentfeeder and scans all the documents so it will not be that much of an effort. I think I am not going to wait for the transcript after all as I have no idea when they will have it available for me to order.

Hey now, don't insult my food choices :P I really do like Sbarro. But South Dakota is a barren wasteland, I'm lucky I have Pizza Hut here :P And I just checked Sbarro's site, they don't even have a location in Sioux Falls, one of the biggest cities in SD. So I'm out of luck until I fly through Minneapolis again headbonk.gif

We are trying to beat October thread and close up with 300 pages...

good.gif We're getting closer! Less than 70 pages to go and we still have 4 days laughing.gif

Oh yeah, you did do some charts and graphs! I remember now...really enjoyed those, too. That feels like a lifetime ago. Still, yes...this thread is much more fun! :)

So....my IV bill was paid by the laywer yesterday, it said in progress for a short while but is already updated to paid.

Our lawyer also sent our packages yesterday with express mail, when can I start bugging the NVC to find out if they recieved it?

Also, do I keep calling them everyday at this stage too, to find out how they doing with our packages? It is after it's been reviewed I'll get a CC?

And when I do get my CC that's when I call them everyday about my interview date no?

Just making sure I ask the right questions at the right time :D

My phonebill will probably not be pretty after the NVC stage but I do rather look forward calling them once a day even if I just get the same stupid answer all the time. Makes me feel like I can make a difference :P

When are the packages expected to arrive at NVC? Start calling them the day after they arrive. And then call them everyday afterwards. And the operator will only know it's received once the review on the package has started.

Once both packages have been reviewed and accepted, then your case will be complete. And then yes, keep calling everyday for an interview date.

And I used Google Voice when calling NVC. Didn't pay one cent :D

Hi, my CR1 petition got approved on march 13, 2012. NVC received the petition on the 19th. I'm calling everyday to ask for the case number but the operator keeps on telling me that my petition is still in their mail room. Just want to ask if someone is experiencing the same thing, cause it's been a week since they received it and i'm getting worried. Thanks.
