OMG NVC operators keep track of how many times you call! I just got a smart... that told me " I see you call quite a bit and if you notice nothing has happened, you still do not have an interview date and will not have it till the 2nd week of April"... on a normal phone call I would of asked for a Manager or something after having such a rude person but with Immigration they are always right as per them so no point in arguing that she was rude! to the extreme!

I better be getting my interview date soon... I ran out of all the patience I had to hold their stupid rudeness!

I think some of you guys call a bit too much though. I work at a call center and when we get someone that calls 2-3 times a day it will just make us not process their request any faster. And I won't even get into the comments we make when people call so often lol

But with that being said, they should not be rude with anyone. I would've spoken with a supervisor to complain, I'm sure a complaint for rudeness will not affect your case in any way.

Thanks Divs :) Looks like it really is possible to get through NVC quickly if you've got everything ready AND go by Saylin's guidelines! And the 15 days included all paperwork being sent from England, since Emily has been here. She's on her way back to Chicago now though, so the last leg of the process will be lonely again :( Oh well, time to stay optimistic

EEEEERRRRRGGGGGG

I'm no longer getting a SIF for the payment portal.. but there's also no AOS invoice!!

When I log on the Electronic Document page I get a message at the top of the screen:

The next step in the Immigrant Visa process is for the applicant to pay the Immigrant Visa Application fee. The principal applicant (or the principal applicant’s agent) will receive an Immigrant Visa Fee Processing Fee Bill Invoice from the National Visa Center.

If an Immigrant Visa Fee Processing Fee Bill Invoice has been sent from the NVC, you may pay any outstanding Immigrant Visa Application fee by clicking on the Pay button below. Please note that until the principal applicant’s Immigrant Visa Application Fee has been paid, no further action can be taken by the NVC.

The AOS folder is not grayed out and I have a blue pay button and I can click it. Beside the blut pay button says "Not Paid". At the bottom the page says: Number of IV Fees: 1 Paid: 0 In Process: 0 Not Paid: 0

So I click on the blue pay hyperlink and I get taken back to the payment portal and there's the AOS with my full name but still says "Not invoiced"

NVC is about to drive me mad!!

We have Sbarro in Toronto, but I never eat there, haha.

Favourite pizza place on the PLANET

[...]

So I ended up dreaming last night that Cici's pizza had come to my little town in South Dakota laughing.gif If only it were true!

Ohh! We could have a chat in Sbarro! :) I've never been, LOL :) Your dates are actually when I was hoping to fly so we may just cross paths :) I'll keep you posted!

Ohhh, that'd be really awesome if we can meet up! Pizza and a chat with a VJ friend! kicking.gif I'll definitely keep you posted. I should be buying my plane tickets within the next few weeks. Expedia and Travelocity have completely messed up on me with those dates. It used to be Delta flights from here to Montreal and back. But as of a week ago, Travelocity is saying there are no flights on my selected dates (none at all) whereas Expedia gives me some, but they're more expensive and not with Delta *sigh* Waiting until whatever is going on gets fixed...

Another UK case complete! Now to keep an eye on when everyone gets their interview dates. Gutted that I'm almost guaranteed to miss my Sister-in-Law's wedding in 6 weeks, but I'll be happy if I can make it for Emily's birthday in 8 weeks. Fingers are crossed

Grats! kicking.gif Only 14 days from case number assigned to case complete! wow.gif

Yeah, when I was at NVC waiting for my interview, I always just called them once a day. But there was this one day I wanted to call again, at night, right before they closed. That was the first (and only) time I got an extremely rude operator. Sounds exactly like your experience where he told me that I had already called that day, and that an interview hadn't been scheduled, and I should wait until the second week of April to call again. Blah blah blah. Like 3 days later, I ended up getting my interview date, so poo on him headbonk.gif

Laure&Colin got approved this morning @ embassy. I'm so happy for them.

Yay! That's awesome news! kicking.gif

NVC Operators DO NOT make decisions or/and have any input in cases that are been processed by NVC specialists, they only answer basic questions about process and provides information that is provided via their terminals. I would not be surprised if someone tell me that they are contractors for NVC.

If an Immigrant Visa Fee Processing Fee Bill Invoice has been sent from the NVC, you may pay any outstanding Immigrant Visa Application fee by clicking on the Pay button below. Please note that until the principal applicant's Immigrant Visa Application Fee has been paid, no further action can be taken by the NVC.

Remember, when paying bills, log directly into the payment portal, not the form portal. It probably doesn't make a difference, but it's one less step. And it'll happen soon. You gotta BELIEVE it and it will come.
