If they mess it up, I'll whack them with their own handbook! I figured I'd come prepared. I'll be nice about it.. I promise! I would hate to get this far then cause an international incident!

Haha, print out that portion of the handbook and shove it in their face if they look confused or disagree with you laughing.gif

Don't hurt your noggin with that hammer! I had that thought before too, and was SO confused the first time I went through Toronto! But then again, that airport messes with my head...so badly...

I love Minneapolis too, and Trav loves it even more! He doesnt' even take the tram anymore and requests a longer layover so he can just walk between terminals. It's a really nicely laid out airport and the walkways are pretty nifty :) LOL...what's a Sbarro??

Yeah, took me a second to figure out why you did POE in Toronto and not Winnipeg. I need my sleep laughing.gif

And yeah, I'm flying back to Canada in June, and of course my layover will be in Minneapolis, and I'm making sure it's a long layover so I can enjoy it. And oh my gosh, I forgot about the tram until you just mentioned it! That was my first airport tram and when I first went on it, I'm like oooooo. And yes the walkaways are pure awesome.

And Sbarro is a pizza place :)

Awful pizza sold in airports and travel centers...

[...]

Hey now, it's not awful! I love it! blush.gif I always go to that Sbarro when I'm in Minneapolis!

Awful pizza sold in airports and travel centers...

oh it's beautiful here! But still the middle of no where!

I'm going to do my best to not eat much on the trip (as if I could LOL), because Trav's promised to take me for dinner to one of two places (Sonny's or Cracker Barrel...we haven't decided yet, unless we go for slightly fancier which I doubt lol). So...well, as yummy as pizza sounds - Sbarro will have to wait lol. And wow, is it ever beautiful there. One of my favorite places on earth! Middle of nowhere is pretty much perfect.

Random question!

What's the "instruction package" in the NVC section of the immigration timeline for CR-1/IR-1? Was I supposed to receive that prior to case completion, or is it the email in which you get your interview date?

On a similar note, our case number on the USCIS website still says "Initial Review." Oh bureaucracy.

Hey now, it's not awful! I love it! blush.gif I always go to that Sbarro when I'm in Minneapolis!

I lived in Canada for four years, and I have to say that Sbarro DOES seem excellent in comparison to the Canadian pizza I had :o:lol:

The instruction package in the timeline is referring to the DS-230 package.

And wow, still on initial review, eh? Silly USCIS headbonk.gif

Ahh, you have Sbarro's in Toronto?! Lucky :P As far as I know, there's none in Sbarro. Closest place was in Plattsburgh, NY (where I was first introduced to it).

And ugh, you have Cici's there too?! Where I lived in Florida for 2 years, there was a Cici's too. My first one and LOVED it. Wish there was either of those places here in this tiny South Dakota town headbonk.gif

Alright, I'm going to bed now... hungry... will probably dream of pizza laughing.gif

Night everyone!

NVC keeps telling me the same... to wait 15 days from NOA2, but i still call anyway...

I just called NVC at ~6:30 pm EST, after repeatedly getting a busy signal (weird), I waited a solid 11 minutes then 'Cindy' told me that the case is in the building but hasn't been scanned into the system...grrrr (Cindy was really nice though)

We've got similar dates, meno-is-mine. I'm hoping we get case numbers this week!
