That 2nd week of April prompt is not true... that I understand interview are schedule all month long. For me the bad part is I was guiding myself by Matt's timeline and it took him 10 days (counting weekends) to get info on his interview... and I am at 10 days and nothing ... :blush::hehe:

I was guiding myself by the 2 other Paraguay cases that got interview dates in 7 days. It's been 14...ugh.

11-19-2011 Married in Paraguay

USCIS - 10 days

01-09-2012 NOA1 email

01-19-2012 NOA2 email (USC living abroad with spouse)

NVC - 33 days

02-08-2012 Case number and IIN assigned (9 days after NVC received)

03-12-2012 Case completed

04-06-2012 Received interview letter in e-mail (25 days after case complete)

04-10-2012 Medical in Asuncion

04-30-2012 Interview-APPROVED

05-02-2012 Visa available for pickup

9/1/11 - I130 Mailed (USPS Priority)

9/2/11 - Arrived in Chicago Lockbox

9/6/11 - NOA1 via text/email (rerouted to California Service Center)

9/9/11 - NOA1 Hardcopy in mail

9/9/11 - Check cashed .... and the wait Begin

2/10/12 - NOA2...no whammies, pleaase, email only, no txt

2/12/12 - mother in law past.... She was an angel

2/12/12 - NOA2 Hardcopy in mail

2/13/12 - NVC rec' case ! No expedite, but I worked a few nervIes...

2/13/12: NVC received case (information only given on 02/13)

2/24/12 :Paid AOS fee and DS3032 sent by email (auto response received immediately)

2/27/12: AOS fee PAID on payment portal, Fee was withdrawn from Bank Account. So,is PAID :-)

2/27/12: mailed AOS (USPS Express mail) & was told the NVC accepted the Choice of Agent but havent heard or saw anything different

2/27/12: Choice of agent accepted

2/28/12: IV fee invoice received by email

2/28/12: Paid IV fee

2/29/12: IV fee PAID on payment portal

2/29/12: IV package sent

3/12/12: IV package reviewed and accepted. AOS package not Recv'd

3/14/12: Case complete!

4/06/12 : Interview Date Scheduled for 05/31/12!

4/09/12: Case file sent to Dakar

So I was scanning in the I-864 with signatures, didn't pay attention printed the wrong one. After I merged all my AOS documents I got delete happy, and emptied my recycle bin.. there went my corrected, perfect, ready to go I-864 for my sister and her husband.. Hi there...also awaiting interview date. NVC said today that they are done with booking interviews for April (I assume they meant at london?) and we may possibly get something for May. Please, please let this end soon :crying:

This is a line they ALWAYS use but in reality interviews are scheduled throughout the entire month. Don't get discouraged, just hang in there

Finally!!

Just before I was gonna go to bed I decided to check my mail one last time today and in there was a mail from NVC :dance: , it was sent to me, my husband and our lawyer. It was info on my case with all numbers and this and that plus how to pay etc. (Never got that email regarding my sons case though) So I logged into the payment thingy which just 10 min ago gave me a SIF but now it worked AND our attorney had already paid the money. Status showed in progress! :yes:

Gonna fall asleep with a smile on my face tonight!!
