I am almost afraid I missed something....opened it, I can read every page, but it was scanned in black and white because that's all I have access to. That's the ONLY issue I can see, but I can fix that Monday if need be. That going to cause a checklist?

...

For the AOS package, no it shouldn't be a problem. But for the IV, you'll need a color one for the passport pictures, certificates, etc.

YEs we are 100% sure. My wife document was on top ( AOS) and below was our joint sponsor one ( AOS ) each document has a copy of the first biographic passport page as proof of Citizenship

If you're sure, then speak with a supervisor and see if they can help.

Did you sign in black or blue ink? Although, I don't think it's really a problem as it's EP, so they should know it's a photocopy and your original package will be handed at the interview.

Got a checklist for the most RIDICULOUS THING: no proof of savings/checking account.

I called and told them that this was optional, so can't i just omit the information, and she said i would have to send in a new form. SO ANNOYING! So my question is, I sent them my bank account balance before I paid the IV bill, so i'm about 400 bucks short, but i can deposit about 350 in the morning. does it matter? or do i update the AOS I-864 with the amount currently in my savings/checking account? thank you, will get this out tomorrow ASAP!

Saylin i spoke the a supervisor she did not go through the document she was just reading what was on the system, she was not really being. It is like i was speaking to an operator. I thought she would go to our document and take time to look into the papers. Unfortunately, they say they will send us a checklist to inform us to which address to send the proof of citizenship. The good news is : it is the only thing they need from us. We were gonna have a CC today as predicted if it they didn t lose that paper

I think it should be fine, for the reason I stated in my last post to you.

And haha with the emoticon.

You can include a cover letter if you wish, just explaining that what you're sending is a checklist response along with what you're sending. But this is optional.

Other than that, your list is good good.gif

You can try with another supervisor, or just send in the form again. Unfortunately, NVC sometimes "loses" documents. It happens.

Does anyone know how to download the form DS-230 in a way that you "SAVE" it and continue at a later time?

My sister was able to do it but she is in TX, and I'm in FL and I haven't been able to get in touch with her to find out how she did it.

Every time I try typing a DS-230 I have to do the whole thing in "ONE SITTING" and print it out because it says: It would not let me save any data on the form. On the other hand, the I-864 DOES ALLOW me to save data.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Citizenship

Could she have used an earlier version? I tried the same way as you and like you said, it cannot be saved and you have to print it out or do it all over again at a later time. I think the latest version of DS-230 is the one that cannot be saved.

Saylin, this is what i figured, why can't I just send back the AOS form and fill out zero's for assets since we have a joint sponsor anyways and avoid the extra paperwork? i was just thinking that because we listed it to begin with and now i'm not going to send it, it might look shady no? It's just that i have two bank accounts and my husband has one, so it's a lot of extra paperwork for them to go through and potentially slow them down even more no?
