hey guys i have a quick question and i did read the 1st page.

nvc has received my case, everytime i call for case number they keep saying i must wait until the petitioner is contacted, is that the case or should i keep calling till i get it?

NVC (30 days, March 12 to April 11. Case expedited due to NVC errors).

Montreal US Consulate, awaiting interview date (14 days, April 12 to April 26).

05/09/2012 - medical in Toronto - passed!
05/22/2012 - interview - passed!
05/25/2012 - visa in hand!!! biggrin.png
06/09/2012 - POE @ YWG (Winnipeg Int'l Airport)

Removal of Conditions submitted March 24, 2014, received March 26, 2014

"RFE" for page 3 of application received, date March 27, 2014. Package re-submitted with all papers re-attached.

05/07/2014 - Biometrics in Charlotte, NC

11/05/2014 - APPROVED! Citizenship in 5 months!

can the form DS-3032 be e-mailed rather than mailed?

don't they need original paperworks?

Like others have said, the DS-3032 can be emailed. It's not like the I-864 or DS-230 which contains info on top of info, so it's alright to email instead of snail mail. Just follow to the T the template linked in the first post.

I can't help you since I don't know DR time frames. I waited 15 days for mine :P And there's other people (Ghana, Cairo) that wait months for theirs...

I´m gonna ask my husband to not send the tax returns since we have the tax transcripts.

we don´t have the letter from his employer yet - do we even need it?

Saylin if we send out these documents will it be ok?

- bar coded dokument cover sheet

- cover letter

- I-864

- tax transcripts 2009-2011

- W2

- pay stubs

in that order, with our case # on the top left (that´s where he wrote it) corner of the dokuments...

Employment letter is optional, so if that's holding you back, it's alright, you don't need it.

For the tax transcripts, if you send them, you don't need the W2s (unless the petitioner filed jointly with someone and needs to show their own income).

The case number is usually written on the top right of all documents, but the left is fine. Make sure it is NOT written on neither the bar-coded cover sheet nor the cover letter.

Not true. I was the beneficiary and I was the one that called for everything (my husband, the petitioner, NEVER called). Just call back. You got an uninformed operator (but what's new...) headbonk.gif

Question: My joint sponsor is including her spouses income, so I know he needs to fill out the I-864a. On the I-864, do we check the box Only joint sponsor or first of two joint sponsors?

I'm thinking only joint sponsor since the BiL fills out the I-864a with my sister as a member of her household.
