Interview
04/09/2012---- Interview assigned 17 MAY2012 (30 days after NVC CC)

04/11/2012---- Visa issued and Passport stamped received ( US Consulate Casablanca, Morocco)

POE

05/14/2012---YAY!!

......2 years - 90 days later....

ROC

02/15/2014--- standing by to send ROC packet.

02/25/2014--- ROC packer received.

Oh, no, it's not just EP cases. It's EVERYONE. There's more non-EP cases than EP cases :P

Damn I hope they do open tomorrow... the AVR is reporting that my DS-3032 has been entered so if they hadn't closed today, might have gotten the IV fee bill today. :(

Specifically, the AVR is giving the message indicating that they've processed the AOS fee and DS-3032 (vice just the DS-3032)

My I-864 package was sent express via USPS yesterday and suppose to be delivered today. The tracking system status on USPS site says "Notice Left (Business Closed)"

Called NVC today and the recording says that the NVC is closed today!

can anyone confirm that!

Yes, there were a few people in the February thread who mentioned that NVC is closed today due to outages/snowstorm.

What a wonderful compilation!

I'm new at this so, forgive me if I sound stupid but, what if you don't have a lawyer and you are doing the paperwork yourself? In DS-3032, what do I do? And it sounds like it but I need a confirmation. When we get bills like AOS ($88?), and IV(???) do you pay online?

2010 - met in Kuwait and got married at Washington using previous b1/b2 visa.

2010 - back in Kuwait as husband and wife.

2010 - denied to renew tourist visa, lady in the embassy said was not eligible!? Lies! Wth! Traumatized :-/

2012 - applied for tourist visa again, strengthened by the Lord, armed with lots of prayer, got a b1/b2 visa for a year!!! Yey! Christmas here we come!!!

2012 - decided to get ir1/cr1, I-130 started.

2013 - still in ir1/cr1 process.

2013 - EXPECTing our first born !!! <3

Dear Jesus,

Because your awesome and you love us more than we will ever know how to, please bless us and send our visa case to the fastest and bestest worker you got! But nonetheless, let Your will be done not ours. <3

USCIS - NVC

08/03/2012 - I-130 packet received by the Chicago lockbox (sent through FedEx)

08/09/2012 - Received Email of NOA1, routed to California Service Center.

08/08/2012 - updated online?

08/20-ish/2012 - Received Mail of NOA1.

01/18/2013 - Received Email saying I-130 approved NOA2

03/06/2013 - Received Mail of NOA2

03/09/2013 - Emailed NVC correction regarding wrong current address of principal applicant

03/09/2013 - Paid AOS bill $88 online

03/10/2013 - Emailed the NVC DS-3032

foobaz, can you use GZO case number for the NVC AVR? I tried it which only seems to take GUZ case #.

It takes me about 1 week (5 working days) to get the IV bill invoice. I sent out EP with DS-3032 on 2/22 and got the IV invoice yesterday. NVCInquiry sends me duplicate emails for that (don't know why). And I received a "False" Checklist Cover Letter from NVCInquiry. I assume it is "False" since it only asks me to make the IV bill payment which I only got about a few hours before.

Read through the guides provided in the WIKI. Start off by reading the 2nd one linked in Saylin's first post. Here's the link again. When you've read it come back with any specific questions.

Many people have completed this process without a lawyer. And it is fine for you too as long as your case is straightforward such as no overstays in the US no criminal convictions etc.

Yes, they are closed. Hopefully they'll open up again tomorrow.

It's beginning to look like Saylin is not going to get her Poutine.
