LOL yep...optin emails are to opt into the EP processing...that's been a hot topic lately with the amount of Canadian case numbers being issued lately :) As for the scanning pages - that's for the AOS package, we scan in our documents but each scanned file has to be under a certain size so we have to play with the resolution of the scanner.

Wow! Congratulations! It took them One Day to complete and to send it to Mumbai, that's awesome! I also sent my RFE on the 20th, hopefully, I got the same reviewer :yes:

I got my Optin acceptance this morning.Wow! pretty fast.But still cant log in to payment portal.No AOS invoiced yet.What about you?

I had to resend my optin letters and got acceptance already - yay! AND I did my ds-261...AND i'm now getting the sign in fail at the payment portal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

USCIS (192 days, August 24 2011 to March 2 2012. No RFE's).
NVC (30 days, March 12 to April 11. Case expedited due to NVC errors).

Montreal US Consulate, awaiting interview date (14 days, April 12 to April 26).

I think I am because I could log into the payment portal this morning, but about an hour after sending my DS-261 I couldn't - that's when I got the sign in fail :D

She's getting a SIF so that means they're invoicing her. She should be paying AOS fees soon!

I can log on to the payment portal but I can't the visa applications. I keep checking every hour or so. I know my MTL# isn't too far behind Shell's.

Not sure I should be worried I sent the DS-3032 email 2 days ago, this is the same as OPTIN correct? I sent it to the NVC inquiry email and I got the automated response from NVC. Should I have gotten a different response? Thanks

Optin Email and DS 3032 are not the same.DS 261 and Ds 3032 are the same.

Hello Everyone!

Help-me, please!

I’ve read all posts this month and not seen anything like.

My NOA2 was approved on 02/22/2012, which supposedly were sent to the NVC, following the guide line here, I have been calling daily in order to obtain the case number with a continuing response from NVC that they have not yet received the case. Today the NVC attendant informed me that the delay abnormally long and request me to send an e-mail in order to verify what happened.

I'm doing this process by a lawyer and passed this information to him and he said that “a month or two is not an unreasonable time to wait for the NVC response”.

My question are: This already happened to anybody here? What can have happened? What do you think I should do?

No. Opt-in is for countries eligible to do electronic processing. The DS-3032 is your choice of agent. For EP countries we email the DS-261.

Ohh i cant log in to Paypemt portal since yestarday. YOu should log in to it today by any time.One day after getting the case no i was able to login to the online forms so as Trav&shell. Im thinking you can login by evening.BUt im Glad all three of us got optin Acceptance...YAy.Its pretty fast. :yes:

If you are getting the message "this case is in the process of termination" when you log on to the payment portal that is a SIF. That means you're getting invoiced too.

3/20/12 - AOS bill invoiced & paid
3/21/12 - AOS fee withdrawn from bank account
3/21/12 - AOS bill shows PAID
3/22/12 - Mailed AOS packet to NVC
3/23/12 - AOS packet delivered to NVC
3/26/12 - DS-3032 accepted via email
3/27/12 - False checklist received for AOS packet
3/27/12 - IV bill invoiced & paid
3/28/12 - IV fee withdrawn from bank account + IV bill shows as PAID, Mailed IV packet to NVC
3/28/12 - AOS packet accepted and false checklist cleared
3/29/12 - IV packet delivered to NVC
3/30/12 - Checklist issued for DS-230 (they didn't read my addendum)
4/02/12 - Re-send DS-230 to NVC
4/03/12 - DS-230 checklist delivered to NVC
4/06/12 - Case Complete!!!!
4/11/12 - Interview date assigned! May 18th at 7:30am!
4/30/12 - Medical exam in San Fernando, Trinidad
5/18/12 - Interview in Port of Spain, Trinidad at 7:30am
5/26/12 - POE through Newark, NJ

ROC:

2/27/14 - Mailed ROC package to USCIS VSC

2/28/14 - Package received at VSC

3/6/14 - NOA1 received with receipt date of 3/3/14

4/4/14 - Biometrics appointment in Elizabeth City, NJ

9/21/14 - RFE received

11/15/14 - Green card approved!

Citizenship:

5/19/14 - N-400 mailed to TX
