Thank you :D Optin emails sent and logged in to see that we're not invoiced. Funny story - somehow we got through USCIS with an error on our I-130...no RFE...when I tried to give Trav's birthdate, they told me it wasn't right so I said "well, the year may say 1982 which is wrong." she said "why would it say that?" to which I said "because either I or USCIS made an input error and it was entered incorrectly." She said "that's an easy fix, just send the petitioner's birth certificate to us right away." PHEW!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you sumbit Ds261 form?

Yup, if you have the 2011 tax transcript, that's fine.

Remember, it can either be the last year or the last 3 years.

It took me one business day after getting my case to be able to log into the portal where you fill in the online forms. Not sure if it's faster now...

It's not faster now. Payment portal can be accessed, but the online forms are a no go. Phew - thought I missed something!!! :blink:

OMG after NVC was going in such a good pace with now I sit and wait and feel like there is no movement while I wait for an interview date...I dislike this feeling...

I"m trying to cheer myself up with this little analogy - going from NVC to interview seems to be something like falling down a hill and hitting a brick wall. About right? :)

How slow or fast, does that depend on specific US embassy in each beneficiary's country?
