Yes, just a copy of tax returns and such is enough. You can't send NVC the originals as those are going to the IRS. Make sure you include the entire tax return (1040, 1099 and other schedules if applicable), as well as the W7 and W2s. And then, hopefully you can get a 2011 tax transcript before the interview and bring that to replace all those tax return pages.

Thanks for the prompt reply as always =]

Are the same documents required for the I-864EZ as they were for I864?

I was just plainning on sending in the 3 tax transcripts that I recieved from the IRS!! On the instructions form for the I-864Ex it just says:

The following items must be submitted with Form I-864EZ:

For ALL sponsors:

A copy of your individual Federal income tax return, including W-2s for the most recent tax year, or a statement and/or evidence describing why you were not required to file. Also include a copy of each and every Form 1099, Schedule, and any other evidence of reported income. You may submit this information for the most recent three tax years, pay stub(s) from the most recent six months, and/or a letter from your employer if you believe any of these items will help you qualify.

Thanks in advance!

Both require tax information (either tax transcripts or tax returns, schedules, and W2s).

And the employment letter and pay stubs are optional for both versions of the forms.

The only difference between the I-864 and I-864EZ is that the EZ one is shorter. If you're eligible to fill it out, I'd recommend it highly. My husband met the criteria, so we filled it out.

Thanks for the prompt reply as always =]

You're welcome :)

That doesn't really look like the acceptance. It usually states in the email something about the choice of agent being accepted, blah blah blah. Did you email them another time asking them something? When did you get your case number and when did you email the DS-3032?

Saylin, I got my NOA2 approved march 7 and NVC received the case March 12..Ive got my case num, IIN, Beneficiary ID num March 13..Sent my Ds-3032 right away and just received that email now which states that they still need time to process my case..Its been more tahn a week now and yet my son's case was noe in the system yet BUT they told me that his case was already in the building but not yet in the system..Do you think thats the reason why they cant go through with my DS-3032? and I almost check My account everyday and my AOS wasnt invoiced yet..

No, the acceptance mail should read something like this.

Dear Sir/Madam:

Your inquiry has been received at the National VisaCenter (NVC).

We received/reviewed the principal applicant's DS-3032(Choice of Address and Agent) form designating an address and agent.

IMPORTANT:

Do not let more than one year pass without contacting theNVC concerning this visa petition. If a period of one year passes from the lastdate of contact (by telephone, mail, or e-mail) with the NVC, all submittedfees and documents expire. If this occurs, the fees must be paid again and documentsmust be resubmitted in order to continue the immigration process.

Oh yeah? Aww ive waited for more than a week now and im expecting to receive an acceptance of my DS-3032 and yet thats what they've emailed me so far...BUT i wonder why my son doesnt have his NVC case num yet, its been 9days since i've got mine,.we both got approved NOA2 same date and unfortunately they said that his wasnt in their system yet...is that the reason why my case cant go through now, need patience and a lot more...

Well, they probably responded to your first one. Hopefully, by the time they get to your second email, they'll accept it.

They might not have accepted the first one due to something with the other case not being ready, but I don't know how they would know there's another case as both have their own case numbers.

You might want to send another DS-3032 email, but see if the respond to your second one first.

No worries! I just wanted to make sure you got it. I am waiting for the invoice online to reflect PAID, and then I'll be sending it out. I'm guessing since I paid yesterday at 4pm it should show as paid either today or tomorrow.
