Happy monday everyone! Quick question, hubby sent the ds3032 last week as soon as we got the case # and it was rejected; so we sent it once again the same day that we got the AOS email letting us know DS3032 could be sent. We still have not heard anything from NVC in regards to the DS3032 being accepter nor seen the IV bill show up to pay on the portal.

Is this normal?

Also, I paid the AOS on Friday so how many days would it take to show up as paid?

You just re-sent it on Friday!! It's not even been ONE whole day NVC has had it. Relax and take a deep breath!

The same thing goes for your AOS payment. You JUST paid it on Friday. Again, it's not even been ONE whole business day!

Please, go re-read the FAQ a couple of times. Nothing happens instantly at NVC.

Took mine 48 hours to generate, could be less for yours. But be advised when you see the following (don't panic):

=============== from the FAQ in the 1st page by Saylin==================================

Help! I can't sign into the payment portal. Why?

If you're getting an error message ("Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time…" or "This case is in the process of termination. Fee payments and online forms can no longer be accepted…"), do NOT panic. This is actually good news! If you just got your case number, then this message means NVC is inputting your case in their system. If you get this message a few days after case number generation, then it's a good possibility that NVC is invoicing your AOS bill. And if this message appears a few days after DS-3032 acceptance, then there's a good chance the IV bill is being invoiced. And finally, if this message is appearing a few days or more after NVC received your packages, this is a good indication of case complete at NVC!

First off, you can disregard the BIN. That number is only used for those doing online forms, and Pakistan is NOT an eligible country for online forms.

As for when the AOS will be invoiced, it'll be a few days. Possibly by the end of this week. Just keep checking the payment portal as often as you want.

And yes, you'll receive an "initial information package" (as I call it) from NVC. You'll get this around the same time as your AOS is invoiced.

Can I be bitter for a minute? There are several K1 applicants from France who recently got interview dates before mine, although they only completed their process by the end of February. Why does Paris embassy have us CR1 filers wait 2 MONTHS before the interview while they can find slots within 2 weeks or sometimes less for K1 filers??

I'm not sure if this is true or not, or even applies to this situation, but I remember reading a long time ago, that consulates/embassies put aside certain weeks/months for certain visas. So, for example, K1s get the first two weeks of each month while IR-1/CR-1s get the last two weeks, or K1s get every even month for interviews while IR-1/CR-1s get every odd month for interviews. JUST AN EXAMPLE THOUGH. Just something to think about.

Read that too somewhere about if your application was entered on odd days it'll be moved to the next month....or something like that!

In Paraguay, they only schedule IR-1/CR-1 interviews for the first week of each month, I guess since there are so few. So I'm really hoping for a case closed soon; I don't want to wait til May for an interview!
